It was more like a motel, a few places to sleep next to each other, no more.
Not pleasant, bedding was not proper.
I don't usually do reviews, but the experience was really weird — glasses dirty, stains on the bedclothes, fan roared, board games missing all the pieces, shower door broken, shower head not working properly, wall clock broken, nothing to do not for the children, floors dirty, extremely cramped in the room and I was very annoyed to sleep there. Usually I use the website for all my bookings, but I'm disappointed that they associate their name with such a place.
Sorry now 4 does not have an outside light for the braai area.
It's hidden and not easy to locate.
It was good value for money. Wi-Fi reception was good.
Calm and quiet environment. Close to N1 and quick to get into town or to my destination. Aircon would have been a great asset because heat. I would give an option for guests for units with or without aircon for R50 a night more.

We were assisted immediately on arrival. Johanna was very helpful with orientation around the place. It is clean and we had everything that we needed for our overnight stay. There was coffee, sugar and powdered milk, a pleasant surprise. When we left the following day we forgot our cooler and we were phoned immediately by Johanna and Wilma. Thank you so much. Will definitely stay there again.

Unit is clean and tidy and meets basic needs. However, the unit only has a day fan which was not sufficient for cooling on a very hot summer night.

We had a great stay at Far North. We were assisted when there was a power outage. The sign outside which indicates the turnoff is very unclear. It shines very brightly and we struggled to find our way the first night.

Patiently waited for late comers with beautifully clean and neat facilities and a cat, needs a bit of shade by the braai, a bath mat and softer outside chairs.
After travelling 650 km with a car, everybody was tired and it was bad that the gate of Far North Overnight was locked and there was nobody at reception to receive us. The cleaner opened up and gave us the key. She asked for our money later but didn't give us a receipt for it. The reception was very unprofessional. We didn't see the owner/manager once, nobody came to hear if everything is okay and if we have any problems. We also booked 2 apartments as a group but our apartments were far from each other which made the accommodation uncomfortable. The apartments itself are very clean and neat. Thank you for that, it made it better.
What a lovely welcome! When we arrived the cleaning lady knew who we were and no unnecessary books and forms to fill out. We are trusted immediately came to mind! She took us to a spacious, spotless unit and explained how the TV and gate controls worked. Fantastic! Our car was under a sturdy canopy and we had no worries about hail or storm. Just what we wanted. Fair and top notch. We came to visit family and friends, but were able to come "home" every evening after a wonderful visit. Thank you Wilna and your team, it was truly a pleasure. Sorry we couldn't meet you, later found out our family is related to you. Perfect overnight accommodation. Clean and tidy. Cars are safe. I will stay here again if I have to spend the night near Pietersburg.
I read 14 reviews of people who visited the place before us because it was so affordable. The "neatness" was mentioned a lot. But I was really disappointed. The basin in the bathroom was still dirty from the people who was there before us. Grossed me out. Couldn't determine if the linen was clean. Poor quality, wrinkled, so it was impossiple to tell if it was clean. We didn't use the kitchen so I can't comment on it. Maybe our own fault, penny wise pound foolish.
Place is ideally located along the N1 just outside Polokwane. For us it was the ideal "half way" between Secunda and Musina.
Had a great time. Definitely recommend it.
We were welcomed and did experience a good, comfortable evening. It is a value for money property.
We were initially booked for 3 rooms and in the end only needed two. We took up the matter with them and received immediate feedback and help. Thank you very much for everything!

The place was absolutely spotless, you could eat off the floor. Johanna was very pleasant.
Very nice and tidy place. Only problem we experienced is getting the right turn especially when it's dark. Turning is not very clear in the evening and with the traffic especially from behind, it is a quite dangerous situation. But otherwise we really enjoyed it and slept well.
