2 guests' feedbackThe place was so beautiful, serene and peaceful. My friends and I are planning on making it a regular thing. The place was truly breathtaking and gave us the perfect escape from the buzzing city. The owner is very nice and accommodating; we had a power outage and she called just to let us know what was happening and kept me updated, something I found amazing. The house is truly home away from home.
Very restful and clear effort evident in preparing the accommodation. Louis was extremely helpful and friendly. However, many things broken and missing like light lightbulbs, difficult to open doors and strange design of the house and evidence of damp and stuffy air which exacerbated sinusitis. We also were not shown how to open different doors, where keys where and look after our safety. Repairs were still being made to the accommodation and during our stay, which interrupted our peace. It has amazing potential, but things like uncomfortable beds, insufficient light in the kitchen, not enough soap to clean the dishes, no outdoor signs to help us find our way and hardly any interaction with the owners to make us feel at home means that we won't be able to recommend it to friends, although we would love to if these things are addressed. Strange use of space and small areas like the kitchen where there is plenty of space around it but unfortunately not in the actual kitchen, making meal preparation problematic. Dark and dingy inside, where a coat of paint would really help and better space engineering. When one goes away, one needs a place that is as good as home or better. Carpets dirty and worn. Better to remove altogether. Essentially, the outside area was more pleasant than the inside. We really did enjoy the fire place and visiting room, although most of the chairs were very uncomfortable, some broken and this did not allow for extended resting or sitting, which is really the point. Poor design of extended room area, needing to walk through the main bedrooms to get to the other part of the house. Needs a re-look.

On the farm, there's a 1.5 km dirt road that all vehicles travel slowly on, enjoying the scenic journey. The hosts welcome pets, but in this rural area, please make sure your pets are protected from ticks and fleas. There are 2 bedrooms, each furnished with a king-size bed and offering an en-suite bathroom.
