We had a lovely stay on the farm and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise on the veranda. The friendly welcome and award winning Pinotage in the well equipped unit was a bonus.
We had the most wonderful stay at Farmhouse Guestrooms. It was peaceful and quiet. At just a few minutes' drive from Calitzdorp, the location is very convenient. Our room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
Beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Cozy, clean and neat facilities. It was even better than we expected. We will definitely be back!
The facility was good for an overnight stay with friends. We'd love to stay over again in the near future.

The facility is located on a farm about 6 kilometers from Calitzdorp. The accommodation is offered in semi self-catering rooms, which are rustic and have a great historical story posted in the rooms. The facility has some poultry on the farm, and at night the birds will delight nature enthusiasts. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing after a long day of exploring!
Jos received us very kindly. Everything met our requirements. Will stay there again.
Meet requirements for one night's overnight stay.
Beautiful views of Swartberg and Rooiberg mountains. Very quiet, except for the barn owl screeching which was amazing.
Interesting history about JP Nel and the farm. A sheet next to the wardrobe will help to set up your overnight bag. The WiFi did not work and mobile phone signal is very weak, probably due to the location of the guest house. At least we slept well.
Everything was clean and tidy. Friendly welcome.

It was just cold and would suggest having extra blankets as well as winter sheets in the winter. Or a heater. According to the women, towels were not up to standard.
