The glamping tent accommodates 2 guests and is furnished with a double bed, the tent comprises a bathroom and is fitted with a shower. Other in-room amenities include a bar fridge and tea-and-coffee-making facilities.
All cottages have linen, towels and well-equipped kitchens with braai facilities on the verandah. The cottages are self-catering, and linen and towels are changed on a regular basis. Favor Farm is a lovely place to stay, close to the sea with a picture-perfect view. Lilané is an excellent hostess and I would recommend Favor Farm to anyone. You are by the sea without the hustle and bustle of the holidaymakers.
Beautiful place, with peaceful atmosphere. Overlooking a pond. Very well equipped and load shedding did not have an influence.

Nice stay, facilities are good, central, but away from the city. Nice barbecue on the stoep. Sunsets to the fore. Not a boring view of a town or sea, but a working farm. Will go again.
Jonqua's cottages are excellently equipped with ample space. The farm sounds, bird sounds and beautiful pond are food for the soul!

We were very happy with everything, we will definitely stay here again, the only thing I think they can change is to make sure there is drinking water for the guests, as there is only brackish water, we were given drinking water on arrival but not again, and the gas geysers are always difficult, especially in winter, but it was portable. Wilna is a very pleasant and friendly woman and Grandpa is dear.

We had a great time and stayed on Jonqua. It was very quiet there which suited us because all the other surroundings around us were busy. The children also really enjoyed the fishing at the pond right in front of our accommodation. Will stay there again if I get the chance to go back that way one day.

Jonqua Farm Cottages was the best getaway ever. The tranquility of the surroundings and beautiful view of nature made us relax from the everyday rush. The Cottages have everything one needs. It is very spacious, clean and well appointed.
We went to recharge our body's batteries and couldn't ask for anything better. The only sound was the birds singing. The view was heavenly. We couldn't get enough of the peace and quiet and wanted to bottle it up and take it with us. Thank you very much, now I have another chance for the demands of life.

Had a lovely stay, wanted to braai however there was a huge beehive against fireplace, we were brought a kettle braai which was great. Place was neat and tidy except for lots of spider webs in each corner, not pleasant if you are afraid of bugs which come out at night. There was no iron available. Nice place which overlooks a river. Phone reception wasn't that good. Would go there again.

The ideal overnight accommodation on the way from Cape Town to PE. Most facilities were there that made our accommodation pleasant. Toilet paper was missing. Wonderful location at a dam with the most beautiful view during the day and at night, bird sounds are wonderful!

Warm welcome when we arrived, checked in and showed to our rooms. Everything was ready and perfect. Can't describe how wonderful the quiet atmosphere was. We will be back anytime and can recommend it to everyone.

Huge disappointment regarding the fact that this place is not wheelchair friendly. Just have to mention: the name of the unit in which we stayed is love, the corner bath is beautiful but the geyser is too small to fill it up.

My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jonqua. It is a beautiful place, where one can go and fish and just enjoy the beauty of a farm. It is equipped with everything you need when staying at a self catering place. There is an outdoor braai on the patio, as well as DStv for the kids. It is the perfect place for a family to go away for a weekend just to get away from the city life and enjoy the outdoors.
We had a great stay! Was a bit away from Grootbrak, but still close enough to go to the beach and shops! Wilna was very friendly and helpful! The place was truly a real winner and I would book there again for a holiday anytime! Everything you needed was there and it was one of the nicest holiday homes I've ever stayed in! In nature, overlooking the mountains, was absolutely stunning!

Had a relaxing time - the weekend was just too short and the fish didn't want to bite. Everything was nice and clean. We felt safe and it was wonderful to walk among lots of cows again.

Apart from the last end of the dirt road that one has to drive to the cottage, everything else was extraordinary and excellent. The cottages are perfectly located to appreciate the mountains and scenery. We appreciated the extreme privacy. The horses that graze right next to our cottage give a lovely rural feeling. The decor is beautiful and the whole house very well furnished with a beautiful bathroom and open plan living area. The stoep is perfect for an evening's visit. I would definitely stay here again!
The cottage is perfectly located with a beautiful view of the landscape. The farm environment and the fresh air let us rest wonderfully. It is centrally located and child friendly. It is advisable to find out in advance about the condition of the farm road, especially after the area has had many millimeters of rain.
The downside was the many flies. A vantage point on the dam would be nice for bird watching!
You can sit on the stoep and enjoy the various wild life activities taking place below and across from your VIP seats in the dam amphitheatre. We really enjoyed it an will stay longer the next time we visit.
The cottage provides everything needed to rest and relax. Birds add their part and with the pond and mountains as a view, it is a wonderful relaxing place to find yourself and rest.

A practical and comfortable cottage in a beautiful, tranquil countryside. A spectacular sunset to end the day and awaking to the lowing of cattle. Our 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed watching the morning milking! A relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and the festive season. Wished we were staying longer!
