66 guests' feedbackSuper friendly and helpful service. The accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. Definitely recommend the farm.
Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing experience, wish we could've booked for longer. Everything perfect with wonderful, gracious hosts!
It is so quiet and peaceful on the farm. The tent houses are amazing. We had an awesome time.
What a paradise! So close to nature.
Great rest, only sorry we stayed so short!
Very peaceful and just what you need to get rid of the stress of the city and work.
Wonderful place, had a great time. Thank you very much.
In nature. Nice close to Knysna and Sedgefield. Very good service and hospitality.
It was perfect. Thank you.
It was absolutely heavenly. The people and place are amazing. The silence and beautiful nature give rest and peace, and you feel rested when you leave there. Fantastic fantastic! The type of place you go back to again and again.
Nice place, quiet area.
Our stay was just delightful. Service was excellent. Tent was cosy and comfortable. The nature surrounding you is just bliss. Can't recommend this place enough.
It was just so delicious. Morning coffee on the cottage's porch with donkeys that come to say morning and cows that graze peacefully is food for the soul. Bunnies, chickens and even 2 piggies fill the world. We helped milk cows, milk calves and bring in sheep. The most delicious homemade ice cream and brownies. Thank you very much for your hospitality and unforgettable experience.
Wake up to the sound of birds, monkeys that entertain you, a pig that comes to visit, milk the cows or feed the calves, delicious homemade brownies and ice cream, nice hiking trail, horses, donkeys, sheep, bunnies and chickens. Secluded and private, one with nature. What more do you want?
We stayed down in the gorge in one of their tent houses, it was very nice and tidy. Their farm animals are very tame, we gave milk to the calves and to their 2 pigs we came to say hello at the tent. Their home-made ice cream is really delicious, and we got chocolate brownies for a welcome gift that were just as delicious. It's very peaceful and was a lovely 2 night break away.
Peaceful atmosphere to have a good time and rest.
We really enjoyed the area and will most definitely be back!

What was the most fun? The horses around me, the cattle or sheep bleating, the birds and frogs? The scenery? I think all together made it an incredible weekend.
The farming activities were an added bonus for our 7 year old boy. He loved feeding the animals and milking the cow.
Parents and children will also really enjoy it, can milk cows and give milk to the lambs.
Very nice stay. Rain caught us a bit off guard, but it was still fun.
Lots of insects both inside and outside the accommodation.
The tent is very comfortable and perfect in the forest. It's quiet and you rest well among the trees.
Ideal getaway if you want to relax.
Carpets in tent are not practical, neither in bathroom. Bathroom has no ventilation and carpets do not smell good.
Such a warm and friendly welcome with lots to do on the farm - how stunning to wake up with the birds singing. They thought of everything.
Fantastic host, clean, tidy and nice and quiet. Best value for money for the type of accommodation. We also really enjoyed the jacuzzi.
We had a fantastic 2 night holiday. The tent is so well laid out, with every little detail. We were welcomed so kindly (with nice treats!). Everything was nice and clean. We definitely recommend it for a lovely, peaceful, nature getaway!
It was quiet and peaceful, a good vacation spot to switch off and read a book.
A once in a lifetime experience for children under 10. Excellent service and hospitality.
Will definitely see me a lot more, was on Honeymoon and it was just amazing.
We absolutely loved staying there. We only had one complaint they must please ask the feathery staff members to please not have staff meetings at 05:00 AM in the morning.
We had a nice stay in the beautiful, luxurious tent. Was able to experience a bit of farm life and had a good rest in beautiful surroundings.
It is just the place to recharge and be calm. Will go back again that's for sure.
There was everything ox needed and the surroundings are beautiful! If there had been that little bit more kitchen space and work surface in the tent for cooking it would have been good. The farm is beautiful and very very neat. It was a little bit far from town for me, but it wasn't the worst either. Overall it was a very nice holiday and I would definitely recommend people to stay there.
We have stayed in quite a few places recently, even another treehouse, we did find the treehouse a bit basic without many utensils. We do feel the accommodation was over priced for what you get. We did still enjoy our stay and the staff were lovely too!
It's an ideal place if you have small children, because they get the opportunity to feed animals and milk cows. For us it was very nice to be in nature enjoyed hot tub so much. Even been spoiled with fresh farm milk and chocolate brownies!
Tents were comfortably furnished, however the shower had no hot water, on inquiry it was said that it was because the gas geyser.
The location and atmosphere is exactly what we expected. The bedding is clean. There is a full floor carpet in the room and bathroom. The bathroom has no ventilation. With the regular use of the hot tub and the steam from it, the bathroom rug becomes damp. So don't walk in the room or bathroom with socks. It gets wet. Then also: Turn on the heater by 4:00 p.m. It takes the dampness out of the tent. Otherwise you will get terribly cold. The overall experience was good. I wasn't expecting a guest house, but for that price I might as well have checked into a bed and breakfast. Of all the creepy carpets were the worst for us.
Quiet environment and centrally located to experience the forest and sea.
Very well received. Outstanding customer service. Will definitely go again.
The way the tents are built inside the trees provided a lot of privacy. The setting and furniture gave a true modern farm feeling.
Wonderfully over, fantastic.
The ideal place if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle around you. Fernhill is breathtakingly beautiful. Absolute calm and tranquility with the rustling of the trees, the birds singing and animal sounds around you. Here you find peace again for your soul and you rest physically and mentally. Will definitely visit again. Friendly owners and staff. Thank you very much for making us feel so welcome.
It's a fairy tale world. Very friendly people and some of the most beautiful and cleanest places I have ever visited. They will definitely see me again.
Nice walking trails in nature between the trees, many birds to see.
We had a wonderful stay, the people were friendly and will stay there again soon.
This is the most peaceful stay if you just want to get away! Beautiful view with a friendly hostess. They sell ice cream that they make themselves on the farm - just buy 5 containers if you like ice cream. I bought 2 and I wish there were more left. A really cute place - also perfect for a honeymoon, because you are private in nature.
We couldn't have asked for more. Perfect way to end our Honeymoon. The owners were extremely accommodating and made us feel welcome even before we arrived. Their lovely cat, Pepper, accommodated us all night. Really made us feel at home. The farm even has brilliant cellphone reception. Unfortunately we couldn't experience the full farm as we were only there for one night but, we'll definitely be back again!
We extended our honeymoon and stayed here for 3 nights in the family unit, we really enjoyed it, after our trips around Knysna we spent the evening waiting outside around the fire pit, enjoying peaceful night sounds, the birds' sounds in the morning, room is lovely and spacious with a lovely veranda where we could sit with a cocktail. Small details at room with reception was a pleasant surprise - delicious brownies! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! We were just missing a pair of pliers or something to scrape/move wood by the fire pit.
A wonderful get away from the busy life. Situated in the tranquil woods.
We enjoyed everything from the animals on the farm, firepit and jacuzzi. It is really beautiful and peaceful. You have your own privacy privacy and are close enough to town too.
Incredible experience among the trees with Knysna Loeries. Boomhouse is luxuriously furnished. Warm welcome with delicious farm milk and good advice about the environment. Slept so well. Thank you very much!
It's food for your soul. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and quiet. Very neat and safe. Made to feel very welcome upon reception. Maybe they can just make a cover to close the braai after braai on deck and maybe also put a hairdryer in the tent. Would definitely recommend.
Breathtaking time in the natural beauty! Hospitality of the people and welcome of nature was such a blessing for us. Will definitely go again!
Lovely secluded tent in nature.
Beautiful and peaceful getaway. Very romantic.
A jewel in the bush! Quiet and peaceful - just what my wife and I needed.
Breathtaking, unforgettable, and wholesome experience!
Relaxed in the peaceful environment of the bush surrounded by the sounds of birds and monkeys that play in the trees. Unfortunately didn't see any fireflies, but still a unique experience.
First time we have stayed in a tented camp and really enjoyed the experience. The surrounding areas allowed relaxed drives and walks.
The ideal place to recharge your batteries.
It was lovely being in nature surrounded by forest and with all the sounds of birds and frogs. Very serene and relaxing.
Fernhill Tented Treehouses offer glamping in the middle of the forest. Cellphone reception is good and everything is provided for a good breakaway from city life.
The silence with only birdsong that you hear is soul food. The fireflies made it even more special. Tent is well furnished and very comfortable.
