It was my third stay at this exceptional B&B with its neat, interesting, well-kept and excellently equipped rooms, tasty (and pretty) breakfast and professional reception. Best of all, it succeeds the test: excellent coffee. The price per person may look high, but it is competitive for the environment and the quality - but please allow yourself that treat!

Our stay at Festina Lente is always a pleasant one. Words don't do justice to the service and the beauty of this Guest House. The host is amazing. She is friendly and very thoughtful. The units have everything you d need. From a hair dryer, bath soap, wash cloths, iron and ironing board. It is located at a quiet place and units are very private. If you are around Sandton and need a place to stay this is it. You will not regret your decision, and it is worth every cent. They also serve breakfast which is delivered to your unit at the time you requested.

Dit was ons tweede verblyf daar en ek sal beslis weer daar oorbly. Die diens is baie goed en die mense baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Die kamers is uniek en baie gemaklik. Die ontbyt word mooi voorberei en word na jou eenheid gebring, dus kan jy rustig in die tuin/eenheid eet.
Festina Lente gives a homely atmosphere and rest for your soul. They have excellent service and a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend it for any traveller.

The units are very cold, but otherwise I can recommend it.
The Van Niekerks made me feel so at home! Festina Lente will see me again for sure when I have to go for training in Sandton. The decor is cozy and very tasteful. The breakfast was delicious and they paid a lot of attention to the fine detail which made me feel special.
I have stayed overnight in many places, but Festina Lente is by far the best.
