25 guests' feedbackDefinitely a winner. Beautiful village. Peace and quiet. Tranquility. Best camping site we've experienced so far. The host Chris absolutely kind, sweet, friendly and helpful. We love that we could choose where we can pitch the tent on the site, the bathroom was clean and tidy. The site itself is safe, clean, green, surrounded with the beautiful nature. Highly recommendable. We will surely return.

Friendly reception, although unclear directions to get there. Close to local people's homes and heard noise all evening which does not make you feel safe. No fencing around camping area.

Very nice and clean with a neat campsite, very nice washing up area and bathrooms and enough for the children to do. Friendly and helpful workers. Will recommend for families with children in primary school, too little for teenagers to do. Nice getaway for a long weekend.
The owner of Fijnbosch Camping was really nice and helped us out with everything! The bathroom is very clean and you have a lovely space to put up your tent. We recommend this place to everyone!
After 13 days of walking I finally arrived at my last destination. The owner was very welcoming and showed me around. This was all I needed after my long walk. A place where I could remove my shoes, be welcomed and relax underneath the trees in silence. I paid for three nights, but ended up only staying for one night as I was very tired from walking about 130 km's. The night was to be very cold and the owner offered my one of his personal blankets. The next morning I was scheduled to walk about 5 km's to my bus stop and the owner offered my a lift to my destination which was very pleasing. On top of that he gave me something for breakfast which helped my a lot! My whole journey was incredible and it was people like this gentleman that made my travels a memorable experience. Thank you very much!
Really enjoyed it and felt very safe. No boundary wall or wire. Enough trees and nice soft grass. Lots of braai wood on site. Owner very friendly. Made sure we were happy. Very clean shower and toilet. Will use again as a place to sleep.
The service was good and we felt safe. The place has beautiful grass, so no mud when it rains. The place is unfortunately close to an informal settlement and if the wind blows in the wrong direction or if it is quiet the night is quite noisy.
Neat bathroom. There is a power extension cord in a pouch, but not a table or anything else. Very nice trees to camp under if you are well equipped. Friendly host.
It was very pleasant and the owner did everything to make us and our dogs feel welcome. Fully recommended.
I had a wonderful stay at Fijnbosch, they were super accommodating and helpful! The ablutions are top notch and impeccably clean. I camped with my doggy and the location is very central to everything! We had a wonderful time, thank you! Just one thing would be that the area isn't fenced, which worried me a little as a single traveler.
It was not at all what we expected. The campsite is right in the owner's backyard. We didn't sleep there, found alternative accommodation for us.
So-called "camping" was in a domestic front yard with not even a fence for security from the road.
A very nice place to stay, away from the noise of the town and city. Walking distance from shops, restaurant and cafe and a little further you can be in the forest, where the children had fun playing in the water streams. Convenient washing and toilet facilities and large lawn where children can play. A quiet town where horses walk along the streets. Will definitely go again, just maybe with more blankets, because the first night it was a bit cold in our tent.
Such a lovely area - very down to earth.
