40 guests' feedbackThis is my second time at Finistere and it remains a pleasant experience. Quiet, clean, helpful hostess and friendly.
Very nice stay. The view is fantastic and there is everything you need. The owners are friendly and helpful. The layout of the unit is also very good and the open plan with the view is a pleasure and very pleasant. I would however advise that the WiFi package be upgraded or at least offer guests the opportunity to upgrade to a better package. Would also like to recommend that a block-out roll-up screen be installed in front of the left front sofa bed window. The lighthouse makes it difficult for a person to sleep there. The rooms are perfect because there is no light disturbance. Will definitely want to stay there again in the future.
Warm, friendly reception by the lady who works there, definitely an asset. She was very helpful. Owners were always available if there was a question and very friendly. Clean and tidy. Everything works in the unit. View is amazing. Very good value for money. It is walking distance from the walking routes along the sea, the places to eat and a coffee shop. We are definitely going back again.
The accommodation fulfilled all my expectations. The host was very kind and considerate about our arrival due to the road closures caused by the recent stormy weather. We stayed on the top floor and the views were amazing, since we had a frontal view of the sea in an open kitchen/lounge area. The lighthouse can be seen from here and is within walking distance. And of course, the southernmost point of Africa is right there. There is also a walking path along the coast, which was lovely. A further convenience is that there is an indoor lift to the top floor as well as an outside staircase. I would certainly recommend Finistere as a holiday destination.
It rained all weekend and the place was spacious enough that we could have a great time inside and still be able to see the sea. Everything was nice and clean and everything you need and more is there.

A home away from home for us hard-working folk needing a break. The establishment is well-maintained, clean and organised. The owner was very kind and professional. I will be booking there in the future for that well-deserved break.
It was me and my girlfriend's birthdays and it was our getaway. There is everything in the house that is needed and more. We didn't even know if there was loadshedding! Beautifully furnished with a beautiful view! The lift there was perfect for getting our luggage into the house! I want to come back again as soon as possible!
Finistere is a very neat, cute place with a beautiful view, would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful weekend away.

This is a great house with excellent views of the lighthouse. Super location for a weekend where you can park and explore Agulhas on foot.
Area is very nice and quiet. Saw whales from the balcony and had a nice barbecue inside in the evenings with the lighthouse that came to rotate with us.

If the TV could be higher that would be good. I would love it if the bathroom had a door. Maybe it's time to repair the leak at the sliding door. Despite everything, we had a very nice stay.
Good sea view but very steep wooden steps to get to the unit, especially with luggage. No lighting in the evening to climb the steep stairs. Further more is the kitchen work area in one side of the room and a sink in the other side of the room.

We had a great stay at Finisterre. Both units, one ground-floor unit and one on the top level were well furnished and well equipped for self-catering. The beds are super comfortable and the towels crisp and clean. Both units were well maintained. The owners, residing on the middle floor attended to all our needs and were just a phone call away. The view from both units are spectacular and we will visit again! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Can recommend the place, close to als, just watch out for the TV by braaier. If you are tall you might bump the TV with your head. It was very nice, will stay there again.
