Absolutely awesome, will definitely go again.
We spent our honeymoon at the wonderful and beautiful Firefly Eco lodge. We were ecstatic to be able to take our fur babies with us (which had the time of their lives lounging on the stoop and meeting the owners' fur babies for breakfast each morning). I will definitely be going back on our wedding anniversaries in the future and recommend that families with fur babies stay at Firefly Eco Lodge and enjoy the very tranquil nature surrounding them. I would also like to say thank you to the owners that made our experience a memorable one. Hope to hear about the puppy passports soon.
Very nice setting and a very relaxing atmosphere.
Stay was okay. The place is beautiful but needs maintenance. Couldn’t use the pool because it was dirty and there were weeds all around that side; it felt like a ghost town. The room was super clean except for the outdoor shower that had green mould; had to ask them to come and clean it. It would also be nice to have an iron in the room.
The unit was nice, but the pool and pool area were dirty.
We really enjoyed our trip and the friendly, accommodating ladies that welcomed us and our fur babies. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We were greeted with a smile by the owner and immediately felt at home. Our room was located in a peaceful area of the lodge and it was truly beautiful, clean, and tidy. We will definitely return again.
It was dirty, no soap, towels, shower caps. There was no TV, not even coffee.
Very dirty, false advertising, drove 10 hours to get there and was an absolute mess. Paid for 8 days, was there for two days then my wife and I returned home. Maintenance is very very bad.
Friendly staff, great breakfasts and cosy room.
Service was excellent. Our little ones also enjoyed it a lot. Our room was the only one without a yard so it was a little bit difficult with the dogs, but everything else was perfect.
The accommodation we booked was for self-catering units. The units were not at all adequately equipped for self-catering. It was incredibly difficult to make food. The units were also poorly equipped in all respects. They also do not mention anywhere that they are located on terraces and that they are not elderly or disabled-friendly at all.
Loved the cottage. Beautiful, clean and spacious. Lovely braai area and pool. We enjoyed the walk trail to the dam. I wouldn't mind to visit them again.
The service was very good, the accommodation was very neat and worth the money.
Cleanest of places. Comfortable. Easy to get. We were able to order food before our arrival. The owners really went out of their way. We would recommend them for sure.
The owners are very concerned about their guests' comfort, friendly and immediately available to help and clearly take the 'Eco' part in the name seriously with how well they look after nature to look after the wildlife. For a longer self-catering period, the kitchen work surfaces might just get a little neater.
