This holiday house can accommodate 12 persons and comprises 4 bedrooms, with 4 en-suite bathrooms. The main and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed; the third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a single sleeper couch, and the fourth bedroom is equipped with 3 single beds. Each bedroom has access to private bathroom, and a private entrance leading outside. There is a separate double bed in the lounge area to accommodate extra guests.
The well-equipped kitchen contains 2 fridges, a gas oven with a stove, a microwave, and other basic appliances for self-catering purposes. The adjacent dining area leads out to the covered verandah. The TV/lounge are leads onto a covered braai area and lovely views of the dam to admire. Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement.
Guests are allowed to bring their own jet skis and fishing gear. On occasion, guests will also spot the free-roaming game such as zebra, ostrich and blesbok in the area.

We were a group of 12 men on a fishing weekend. The house was in a great location on the dam. We were met by Simon who showed us around. There are 3 bedrooms with king beds and en suite bathrooms, and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds and an en suite bathroom. The lounge area also had an additional double bed. The kitchen was great with all the amenities and a built-in braai area. The patio overlooks the dam with enough seating for all of us. It was not an issue to share beds as we spent most of our time at the dam where we set up camp. The dam is pretty low, so it was about 250m away from the house, but we were able to drive up and down when needed. Also, the fishing was great; we caught really nice carp. We also used the cleaning service, which was available for a small fee. We all agreed that we would definitely go back.

We had a lovely time with the family. Unfortunately, the weather was not too nice, so we did not spend as much time at the dam as we would have liked to. We were a bit surprised to find that this is not a home; each room is separate from each other. There was also no Wi-Fi (if the weather was better, we would not have missed this). Still a nice setup in warmer weather.

Very nice accommodation with a good layout. Everything you need for self-catering. Everything was clean and tidy. Nice lawn in front of the house to play. Easy to launch the boat there. Maria came to clean for us 2 times a day at an extra cost which allowed us all to relax. We will definitely book the house again.

We booked Fish Tales for a rams party and we couldn't be happier with the destination. The views over the pond are breathtaking, and the home itself is large and perfectly set up for a great get-together with friends. We barbecued, watched rugby, and caught good fish right on the property's shore. The owner is very friendly and helpful and answered all queries well.
Will definitely be going there again.
As a group of friends with the little ones along, we booked for the weekend, the large lawn is great for the kids to play as there are no thorns, the kitchen has everything a person could need for a weekend away, and by 09H00 am the Saturday we stopped counting at 30 fish. I would highly recommend this place as it is truly a gem.

Very nice place with everything you need for a fishing getaway. Everything was neat and worked. We caught a lot of fish, although not very big, snags were a problem though.

Nice atmosphere with great morning sceneries.
Fish Tales is a wonderful place, very peacful and homely. It has everything you need, rooms are stunning, not to mention the amazing kitchen. The view of the dam is absolutely beautiful, the sunrise is breath-taking. We were lucky enough to spot 2 beautiful zebras upon arrival and also a herd of springboks! The dirt road heading in needs a bit of attention, but other than that our stay was definitely comfortable.
Host was very friendly and informative and place was tidy and safe. Dirt road was a bit rough so I suggest driving an SUV or pickup truck to make things easier.

We had an amazing time at Fish Tales. Beautiful setting, relaxing environment, great fishing, our dogs had a ball, all the people in our group loved the house and the layout of the house. Your room feels like your own personal space. Great kitchen with huge counter and stools to accommodate everyone for breakfast or dinner. Overall an amazing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Felt like we were at home so we could just put our feet up and have a good time. Will definitely be going back. We can't wait for the entertainment area to be completed. Look forward to creating many more memories at Fish Tales.

Everyone enjoyed themselves very much, they say they will definitely go back again. It is very peaceful and beautiful when the sun rises over the pond, while you sip your coffee and drink on the veranda, with your comfortable sheets, yellow fat biltong and pond swimming in mind.

Nice venue that is safe and well equipped. Easy access to watersport. Only issue was one toilet was faulty and the road from Deneysville to venue is not great.
