We had a great time with all the facilities needed. A big plus was the dishwasher and lovely large indoor barbecue. All that was short, lounge chairs/bench on the balcony to enjoy the sea view and WiFi. Will definitely visit again!

If I could recommend 2 things. Change the stove to a gas stove, especially for load shedding, and extractor fan or better ventilation for the indoor fireplace as it smokes up the top floor. Not a complaint at all, just my opinion.
Relax and have a good time.
We enjoyed our stay at Fisherman’s Cottage. The house was lovely and just what we needed. I would add to the description that the living area, kitchen and main bedroom are upstairs in case anyone has mobility issues or physical disabilities. The wind and rain was really bad at night, and the ceiling and windows rattled and shook during the night. It was difficult, almost impossible to sleep with all the noise. But overall a really pleasant stay.
Had a wonderful time. I expected toilet paper and all internal lights to work, but there was no toilet paper and the lights in the passage and one of the downstairs bathrooms were not working. Also, please replace those pans with stainless steel ones. Those non-stick ones are particularly dangerous to everyone's health since they are in a terrible state. Perhaps a picture of the outside of the house should be on the site since Google maps points to another house and got us lost trying to find the place.
It was a little cold but that's to be expected in winter. There was a stunning view and a lovely accommodation with all the necessities. Indoor braai does smoke the place up a bit but you figure out how to get around it. Really lovely stay.

Beautiful view and can definitely recommend it if you want to rest at the weekend. There is no TV or internet so take a book with you. We have 2 small children and they were a bit bored without any TV or internet but survived for 3 days.
Value for money. Proposal for chairs on balcony. Duvets' inners are past their lifespan. Otherwise very nice stay and will definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed the layout of this house, the enclosed braai area was a dream. The balcony gave a great viewing point. Access to the beach was a short walk away.

My stay was really amazing, stunning views of the beach from every window on the top floor, house was nice and clean and had everything you needed, felt like home.
Perfect getaway house if you love fishing. The view is wonderful. The house could do with a better clean for new coming guests, but either way, we really enjoyed our stay here to unwind and enjoy nature.
We enjoyed the stay. The views are amazing. The bedding (duvets and pillows) can be replaced. It is past their sell by date already. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.
The fridge broke on day 1 and was replaced with a brand new fridge within a few hours (on a Sunday)! This is top notch customer service!
We had a great time and will definitely be back again. The house is walking distance from the sea and could have a great barbecue inside in less good weather. There is everything needed in the house and kitchen. There were enough extra lights and lamps for loadshedding. Some board games, cards and jenga were very welcome! I just want to make a few suggestions: patio furniture would be nice, even a stack of plastic chairs that one could carry out onto the balcony. Maybe mention that there isn't a TV.

Furniture in lounge needs upgrade. Smoking fireplace is unpleasant.
When my friends arrived before me they contacted the owner who was a bit abrupt according to them as I was informed where to find the key. According to the email it was to call Joanie but they couldn't get through therefore I gave her number, never the less they entered and when they got inside the place was reaking of fire (due to fireplace in the house). The kitchen area was dusty and the table was sticky. They cleaned up. However when I arrived I found that inside the cupboards was extremely dusty with little insects. The fireplace kept smoking up the entire house which was extremely unpleasant. We couldn't use the outside braai cause there isn't any chairs to use outside. The walk around in the area is very beautiful. They need to really keep their hand on the place in means of cleaning. The beds needs to be replaced really hard and not accommodating for a bigger and taller person. Pillows new but high and stiff. Please add extra duvets to all rooms as it is extremely cold.
We had a lovely weekend at Fisherman's Cottage. The house is very comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea. All amenities were available, we only took food and bedding with us. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The house was clean and tidy. We were 3 couples so it was a bonus that each room had its own bathroom.
We had a great time and it was a very cute place. Juanita was very pleasant.
What a beautiful house, stunning views located close to gorgeous beaches. Great for fisherman and we loved catching and cooking our fish the same day. A well stocked convenience store and post office is located in the reserve. I didn’t expect a TV, but what a blessing it was time to reconnect with nature. Highly highly recommend this property.
The views from the balcony is stunning. Do not forget to bring board games because there is no TV which was great.
A weekend getaway felt like a mini holiday. We had a great time around the fire and in the morning enjoying your coffee on the balcony with that amazing view was heavenly. We will definitely visit again.
Beautiful view of the sea. Good location. I would not recommend this for older people or people with small children. Stairs. The dishwasher doesn't work correctly and the braai inside smokes a lot. We opened up the sliding doors, but it did not help a lot. For the price I paid per night, I expected more.
