The house has an indoor braai area, as well as a dining table. Outside, guests will find a pizza oven, outside table and chairs, outside portable braai, a kettle braai, and a fire pit overlooking the river. Basic starter portions of coffee, tea, sugar and toilet paper will be provided. Dishwashing liquid, salt, pepper, as well as some herbs are provided.

4 guests' feedbackAnneke was very nice. She took us to get bloodworms for fishing, got Pansy shells for the ladies and provided extra wood at no additional cost. She was also quick to attend to any requests we made. It is a simple house, with all the amenities needed if one goes for a weekend of barbecue, fishing and beach time with young children. The Pizza oven was also a big plus.
We had the most magical stay. The house is situated on the water, but it never gets very deep, so it's safe for small kids. The garden is beautifully protected from the wind, so you can enjoy being outside all the time. The house was recently renovated and has enough rooms and bathrooms for big families, as well as great communal areas to come together. There wasn't an oven installed when we were there, but just ask before your stay. It's within walking distance from great fishing spots. It really felt like paradise. We made some wonderful memories here. Can't wait to come back!
Beautiful location and so safe for kids. There was so much to keep us busy, and the view stole our hearts. Lovely hosts as well. Our family will definitely book another holiday here.
Very nice place to stay. Rainwater tanks supply water to house, the hot water in the showers is difficult to control if 2 or more showers are running at the same time, otherwise good. Own drinking water must be collected. Small leak in roof that didn't bother too much. Gas stove, very nice indoor grill and pizza oven outside works well. No TV channels available, connected own laptop to TV and watched sports online. Cell phone signal is good. Launch slipway about 1 km away, back on dirt road. R155 per day, SnapScan at slipway. 65 km dirt road from N2, take it slow.
