Braai facilities are needed for some relaxation in privacy etc., otherwise everything was perfect and very tidy, friendly people, lots to do in the area, close to everything.

Sandra and Niel were so welcoming and very gracious and friendly hosts. Flat On Old Main Road was ideally situated for us, very central, and the fact that the beach is in walking distance was fantastic. A very simple, cozy room, with all of the essentials including the most divinely comfortable, warm, extra blankets and a heater for the chilly winter evenings. All of the basics were provided, including a tin of delicious rusks. We had a really lovely weekend away, and will definitely be back sooner rather than later.

I had everything I needed and appreciated the small finishing touches (especially the home made rusks) to make me feel at home. Communication with the host was very easy, and I was greeted by them upon arrival. My ETA was a bit earlier than check-in time, but the host allowed me to check in earlier as everything was already ready for my arrival. I would definitely recommend this place to any solo traveller looking for a cozy place to stay in the area.
Flat on Old Main Road is a beautiful place, very neat, carefully furnished and meets the connoisseur's requirements. It is very conveniently located in Onrus and the Onrus Caravan Park and the sea are only a stone's throw away. The open-plan apartment is nice and spacious, has enough ventilation and the stairs also give you a little exercise. Persons who have difficulty walking will find it less convenient. We were able to park our vehicle behind a locking gate and for extra security a steel gate was also installed in front of the apartment's door. However, we never felt unsafe at any point and often went for walks, not only along the seafront, but also in the neighborhood and main street. It is definitely a recommended place to stay for those who visit Onrus/Hermanus!

We had a fabulous stay at the accommodation. It is very neat, clean and is well equipped. The hostess (tannie Sandra) and host (oom Niel) was amazing - they were very friendly, helpful and made our stay such a unforgettable experience! We have travelled to Hermanus for the past 4 years and we stayed at different accommodation - after our stay with them we would never book again our accommodation with anybody else. The rates are cheap - it is absolutely value for money! You can't go wrong.

The neat single room on the first floor of the house has all the basic facilities needed for a holiday. The TV could be bigger and internet access would be handy. The security gate opens to the wrong side and it takes good planning to get in.
The owners live on the property and I received a warm welcome on arrival. The room, kitchen and bathroom was equipped with every possible item to make your stay comfortable. Even had rusks for coffee. I will definitely use this flat again.
