Excellent place, I find it hard to believe that there are still such nice people in this day and age. Everything we needed was there, from a teaspoon to a hair dryer. What a fantastic place and the friendliest people under the sun. We had a water problem and it was sorted out so quickly we didn't even know about it. The farm is beautiful, the wood burns nicely, the atmosphere is South Africa's best! I would return there anytime. Large groups of people can stay there, eat and visit comfortably. 5 star for you!
Had a wonderful family visit. It was nice that each couple could have their own rondavel with bathroom. There is an indoor kitchen and dining room for windy/cold times and also a covered lapa with enough room at a table for 12. We went for daily walks and saw lots of animals. The campfire with the calls of jackals in the evening was delicious. The owners will come regularly to ask if everything is okay, without intruding. We will definitely be booking Flintbeck again for group activities.
Wondeful family weekend away!! The house was lovely and clean and had everything you need. The hosts were fantastic.
The farm's peaceful atmosphere, almost 200 species of birds, 20 species of trees that we counted on a single game drive, the hiking trails, accommodation facilities and warm-hearted people who put their guests' well-being first was the best way to end the rush of 2022 and 2023 with buckets full of energy to take on new challenges. The Brauhaus, which is also owned by the family, is a fantastic place to visit with good food and a beautiful view of the dam and their beers are very tasty. The farm focuses on sustainable development and one can see this in the quality of the cattle, game and many bird species on the farm. We would love to visit again.

From a catering point of view everything was available. The sleeping arrangement was very comfortable. The game drives were enjoyed by old and young. The weather did not stop the family from spending time together at the huge dining room table. Everyone wants to go back there sometime.

We had a great stay, the accommodation was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our kids had a blast! We also had a great game drive, we loved seeing how well the farm is run and how much care they put into being good stewards of their land.

Wow where to even start. What an amazing stay we had at Flintbeck. Heidi and Thomas went far beyond what any host would have. They were kind, respectful and accommodating. Their rondawels were clean, the jacuzzi was great and the trails were well mark for walks in the bush. They provided firewood for the evenings and even took us on a game drive in the rain! what an experience. We are truly grateful for your heartfelt hospitality and only wish we could stay longer! Thank you from us all!

What an incredible experience! Top notch hospitality! From the game drives, to the children who had the chance to 'farm' together, the nice Jacuzzi and peaceful relaxation in the pool!
