We have stayed here on a number of occasions and have always loved it. The hounds are beautiful, the rooms large and well appointed, the food fabulous and the staff warm and friendly.

The weather was cold, but we were very comfortable with adequate bedding, hot water bottles and underfloor heating and heated towel rails. The food was excellent too, as well as the service generally.

Pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a chalet. Very clean and neat. However, our chalet didn't have aircon and it was exceptionally hot during our stay.

We plan to go again in June/July. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant's food is fantastic and everyone is very friendly. The spa staff was also very professional.
We stayed 1 night in one of the self-catering units. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. Very neat and clean and very well furnished. We had nice trout fish and chips at the Hotel's restaurant for lunch, but the dinner seemed a bit stiff and expensive to us, probably because we are not really 5-star people. Fortunately, there are nice places just 7 minutes away. At least cottages are quite a few meters apart so you have pretty good privacy. One thing I regret is that we weren't there in the winter so we could use the ceramic fireplace.
