The main air-conditioned bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, and a bath. The other 2 bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, and a ceiling fan, and share the use of a bathroom fitted with a large shower, and a toilet. For convenience, linen is provided and guests please need to bring their own bath and swimming towels.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a water filter system, an ice maker and a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble-dryer are also available for guests to use, and guests pleas need to bring their own tablets for the dishwasher, washing powder and softener for the washing machine.
Guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with premium DStv channels, and opens onto the terrace with a built-in braai and dining area, overlooking the surroundings.
Guests can make use of the communal complex swimming pool.
Forest Homes - Eenheid 2 is situated 1 km from the beach for swimming, fishing, wakeboarding. Port Edward offers a variety of activities such as super tubing, golfing, as well as a variety of mountain biking, hiking or walking trails. Guests can visit the Port Edwards Lighthouse, the Mzamba fossils and Petrified Forest, the St John Shipwreck, and explore the Red Desert Nature Conservation or the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve.

5 guests' feedbackIdeal for a family. Rooms are spacious, practical layouts and safe. Everything you need for a long stay. The beach is accessible and safe - a picture-perfect sea holiday.
This is a beautiful place that is run with precision and excellent communication. We loved the view from the patio and the very comfortable couch. Although we were warned, there was literally nothing provided in this log cabin to make it an easier stay. There were no towels, dishwasher tabs, tea/coffee, salt and pepper. I think it's a shame that nothing is provided especially dishwasher tabs that would help to keep the place clean. This is one of the few places I've found who still charges a deposit, it would be great if the smartest effort was made to provide a couple of home necessities. This is a wonderful place to stay, but make sure you bring everything you might need.
Absolutely amazing, Best home I have ever stayed in. Well equipped kitchen and spotlessly clean. The entire unit is beautiful, well situated estate, calm and quiet.
There was a general shortage of water in Palm Beach, the complex was well prepared for this.
Beautiful, modern house. Great view and even better value for money. Well equipped. The washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher help a lot. Will definitely recommend.

Forest Homes - Eenheid 2 is accessed via stairs, and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.

No loud or disturbing noises or music is allowed between 22:00 - 09:00.
The number of guests enquired and booked may not exceed the number of guests during your stay. The unit can only house a maximum of six guests at a time.
No smoking inside the house or outside on the porch is allowed. Guests are welcome to smoke in the garden.
No pets are allowed.
Guests should beware of the monkeys - Guests should not feed or interact with them. The owners and their agents will not be held liable for any loss or damages caused by the monkeys as a result of negligence from the guests.
Only charcoal may be used in the weber – wood is not allowed.

The stove is to be switched off at the main switch when not in use.
