Very neat & tidy. The host was always there to help & give advice on places to visit & restaurants. The breakfast is great. The swimming pool was a great way to cool off & the bird life in the garden is a bonus. The honesty bar is a great idea. Secure parking. The rooms are very neat & tidy. The staff are all very friendly. Definitely recommend them for a great stay.

It is a lovely place to stay. It's neat and the staff is friendly.
The guest house is very comfortable, although they mention that breakfast starts at 7 in the morning, the staff doesn't start working until 7. So the breakfast is really only served from 7h30. Unfortunately, it is too late if you have appointments. The breakfast was indeed tasty. The telephone number given for after-hours work is unfortunately not mentioned and the instructions for handing in keys are not mentioned.
I cannot fault our stay - it far exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay at Forest Manor again in the near future.

Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly and professional manner. Spacious room bathroom and the aircon was luxurious and nice. Swimming pool is clean and tidy as is the rest of the guest house. The breakfast was included and really nice with a menu of a few options from french toast with cheese and bacon to omelettes etc.
Our stay was unfortunately only for one night. The bed was very comfortable, the room was large and clean.

Our room was changed on our arrival, so it was a bit unexpected. The blinds in the room did not work properly. There were previous guests' things in the small fridge. One of the breakfast staff members serves the guests while wearing slippers. And didn't even have a uniform on. It should not be like this at all for a 5-star facility. Guesthouse is very nice, but there is no 'attention to detail', which is disappointing for a 5-star. In the breakfast area there is a certificate of their rating and it has 31 Dec. 2020 already expired. So it made one wonder if they were still rated 5 star or not?
Great accommodation in a great location.
Resident manager was always available and very good general knowledge. Staff were efficient and friendly. The guest house's interior decoration is excellent, wanted to take some of the items home. Very neat and clean. Breakfast was excellent - tried several of the options!

Lovely rooms, very friendly and attentive staff. A few 5 star grading requirements are missing. Biggest concern and disappointment was the total lack of Covid Safety protocol requirements. No attention is paid to this at all. It is a pity that the guests safety is not their number one concern. Apart from that, it is a lovely place, with lovely staff.

Will definitely use Forest Manor Boutique Guest House again. We had trouble finding accommodation because it was during the school holidays. Forest Manor assisted us and helped us with accommodation. Your place is beautiful and very comfortable.
Stay was very neat and quickly felt at home. Alfred the host was fantastic and very helpful. Every morning and evening I was greeted and welcomed back. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and rooms were cleaned twice a day. Had more than enough space, neat and modern facilities. Beach is walking distance from the guest house and within 1 km is La Lucia Mall for shopping etc. I will definitely be back.

The establishment is very conveniently located close to Umhlanga, rooms are clean and well presented, staff are very pleasant. Breakfast is served from 7 am, however, was not set up and ready by 7 am.

The short time we spent there was nice and relaxing. I do, however, think that the service at reception can improve, especially if you're arriving after a long journey. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute of our holiday. It was so nice to be surrounded by beautiful things and friendly people that went out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was nice enough to pick up few kilograms. We also used the pool every day and enjoyed it after a hot day at the beach. The concept of an honesty bar made it easy to get some cold refreshments when you want it. I will definitely use it again if we travel in that direction. Keep up the good work.

I don't like staying in a B&B at all because you feel uncomfortable staying in someone's house with strangers, but they treated us so well. I want to praise them for their hospitality. All the staff that work there are fantastic.
