I had the pleasure of staying at the Forest View Cabins this past weekend, from 24 to 26 May 2024, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The experience was nothing short of spectacular. Being surrounded by a 360-degree chocolate box view was absolutely enchanting. Every direction I looked, I was greeted with stunning scenery that felt like a perfect postcard. The service was impeccable. Any questions or requests I had were promptly addressed via WhatsApp, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. The responsiveness and attentiveness of the staff truly added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.

It was a beautiful self-catering cabin, perfect for seeking out and adventuring with ample scenery and privacy. They followed up daily, provided us with more than required, and they were always willing to come and service the cabin. The gas geyser does take some getting used to as it is sensitive when balancing the hot and cold water. Overall, it was a very pleasurable stay, especially if you plan to tour and check out the amazing areas at and around Tzaneen.

We were booked into Cabin 2. Everything was nice and clean and everything we needed was there. Tracy also emailed us all information in advance, as well as WhatsApp the necessary codes on the day of arrival. The view from the porch was breathtaking. I would recommend Forest View Cabins to anyone looking to rest. I also just want to mention that our deposit was already paid back to us within a day. That's quite something to mention to you.

The interaction with the owner is very good, there were no problems with the keys. Everything was well explained and they let us know about all power problems. The road is in fairly good condition, the places are very neat and the silence and nature are incredible.
The cabin is beautiful along with the view of the mountains. Tracy was a wonderful agent that always kept us up to date with load shedding times, gave clear instructions and information and regularly checked in on us. The cabin's inverter was amazing and kept our lights on the whole time. The only suggestion we have for the cabin is more variety in coffee/tea choices and some milk. Other than that we have no complaints about our stay and enjoyed it immensely. Would highly recommend it.

Myself and my two daughters spend two days at Forest View Cabins and we loved the visit. We had all we needed, the service was great and the view was manjifiek. The surrounding area was very well looked after and we had rain, then even started the fireplace, this made the cabin warm and homey. The braai area was nice and private. Quiet cabin, modern build, and clean. Great customer service with messages every day on loadshedding schedule and generator available for loadshedding in the evening. Check-in & out was easy and straightforward. Most amazing views of the mountains and forest. Note there is no oven in the unit (which was not a problem for us), and a separate payment of the security deposit needs to be made. These points were not issues for us but something to note for other travellers. Wonderful stay overall.
