Fort Governor's Estate - Mountain Retreat offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation in the heart of the Eastern Cape. Situated just outside Grahamstown and less than an hour's drive from the coast, we are ideally placed to offer guests an authentic bush experience coupled with day trips to the surrounding areas.

This property can comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 2 children at a time and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first 2 bedrooms each have a king-size bed and the third bedroom contains a child-only bunk bed. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in both bathrooms.

The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from this kitchen is a dining space with a fireplace. The lounge has comfy seating where guests can relax with a book.

Outside is a spacious wooden deck with sun loungers, an outdoor dining table and braai facilities which is the perfect spot for a sundowner in the evening. Game drives can be arranged at an additional cost.
