Rooms were good. But overall disappointed. Breakfast was extremely disappointing.
The lodge is in a very peaceful area, the lady is kind. The landscape is beautiful.
The room on the street was noisy from pubs up the road. We wanted to keep our door open with security door locked because of the heat so sound obviously travelled in.
Enjoyed our stay, the views of the river are awesome. Delicious breakfast and the Loerie Room has had a slight revamp so it looks better than the pics provided here. Value for money, and easy access to amenities.

I would recommend Forword's River Lodge to my friends and would definitely use them again.
Everything about the lodge is fine except the housekeeper. The lady has a bad customer services she doesn’t know the correct manner to communicate with guests.
What a lekker place to stay. Safe and clean with a welcome drink and the lady was very friendly and professional. Superb breakfast and very well presented.
