The well-kept garden is a sight to behold and the pool and air conditioning in the room were welcome to cool down after the day's heat. We had a great stay and will definitely recommend the place and also use it again if we are in Ceres again.
Empty, dirty pool, parking is against room window. The people who live above you in the loft sound like they are going to fall through the roof at any moment. It was a nightmare! During loadshedding there was only one faint light.
Arrived late in Ceres. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The pool and lawn were such a nice atmosphere. We had a lovely picnic.
We were there for one night as a group of 8 and really enjoyed it. Karla was also very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
It was a quick last minute booking and owner was very helpful in accommodating us 4 in 3 person unit. Open mindset, I like that!
The guest house is lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Would just like to bring to their attention that few things in the house were not 100%. One spoon was missing and the DSTV power cable was in a terrible condition, one seat had terrible wear (kitchen table seat), the fridge did not seal properly. These small issues are only a concern when you leave because you don't want the establishment to think you caused them. Other than that we were happy.

There was no one at the guest house itself when we arrived and we had to pick up the keys in the main street, after calling to find out how to access the guest house. The garden was very neat and spacious and the braai facilities pleasant. However, the unit itself needs some updating, especially the kitchen area, but we enjoyed our evening there even though the tongs were broken.
When we arrived to check-in I was informed that we needed to pick up the keys at a different establishment. As it turns out they gave us the incorrect key. Had to go back to get another set of keys. The next morning they had the audacity to ask us to bring the keys back the next morning which really annoyed me (which I simply threw in the post box). The place is okay, but a better client servicing experience is much needed. Won't be back.
Only one bathroom, had to be shared by everyone, one has to walk through the bedroom to access. Totally pathetic that a five sleeper has been created out of this place. Would not recommend anyone to stay here, unless they are immediate family. We were four guys working in Ceres who shared this place, no privacy. Never again, no thanks!
I am used to guesthouses and self-catering units being oversold and underdelivering. This place was definitely underselling and overdelivering.

Large comfortable room which could actually accommodate three with outdoor seating and a swimming pool and enclosed parking with our own remote. Anything we asked for was provided and the use of their Wi-Fi was a bonus. There was a large fridge and a TV and reading matter and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. To be recommended.
The tannie at reception was kindness itself. Thank you for the short time we could stay there. We appreciate the nice stay and the beautiful garden. Do not forget about the pool that we could keep cool by the hot day and night. I recommend any one to stay there. You will not regret it. Our stay was very good, it was easy to find, the beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was spacious and was very tastefully furnished. The setting was beautiful with the mountains behind. It was warm and cosy.
A very quiet and safe guest house. The summer room was well equipped and the air-conditioning kept the rooms nice and warm. Paring is safe and secure, and not in the street. The room has everything you need to explore the mountains and snow. Thank you so much for your friendliness, Judith.

We liked the upstairs room a lot, cosy, although the downstairs room with the braai drum also would've been great. Unfortunately, we got bitterly cold in the single beds. Please consider winter sheets and an extra blanket.

Seeing as Saturday was one of the hottest days of the year, it was wonderful to arrive at our destination. The swimming pool was nice and cold, and the air conditioning worked well. Was really very nice.
Nice stay with two problems: The WiFi comes on but does not give access to the internet. It is a pity that an Afrikaans place does not have DStv with the KykNET channels.

Our self-catering suite did not have much character, and the kitchen layout is very weird. But everything was available that we needed, and our stay was comfortable. Very comfy beds.
The accommodation is well located and safe. We slept very well. Would have liked to have fresh milk available and there was no toilet paper in our bathroom. Will stay here again for sure.
Had everything we needed. Close to everything. Wonderful host lady. Relaxing. Everything was neat. Aircon and lovely pool. It was so nice and I can recommend it to anyone, even for a family getaway.

It is a comfortable guest house, but to stay there for 1 night for work reasons, the guest house is very expensive and unaffordable. If the overnight stay included breakfast, it would have been more value for money.
