100 guests' feedbackWe really loved the property. It was clean, cosy and an absolute dream for a quick little getaway. A microwave would be beneficial; we need a way to pop that corn whilst cuddled up in front of the fireplace.
Fox's Meadow was absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for a short stay for a couple just looking to break away! Breathtaking!

We had a very nice stay. The hostess was a good hostess and answered all our questions immediately. We stayed in Fox's Meadow. The room is stylishly furnished. The fireplace and sherry was a nice treat. The rain on the tin roof reminded me of my childhood.
Cozy and cozy place to stay. Bed in the "attic" a hit - slept snuggly even though it was bitterly cold. And the sherry on the table by the fireplace was also a winner. Thanks also for wine glasses - not everyone thinks of that.

Was just lovely. The cottage was quaint, well decorated, cosy, cleverly laid out, with good linen, pillows and lots of warm blankets. Fire was burning constantly with it being mid-winter, and it was the perfect spot to celebrate an anniversary.

Lovely romantic room.
It was a cold winter day we slept there and the fireplace, down duvet and electric blanket were a winner. We arrived late and they sent us the load shedding schedule on mobile.
There are too many unnecessary things packed on top, no space to unpack toiletries or to have a proper place to make coffee. No facilities to cook or warm yourself. Next to living space is a wasted space that can be used to make place more convenient. Hanging closet is too small for hangers, clothes have to hang askew to close the closet. No drawers to unpack clothes in, should sit on bench. The website advertises that it is a B&B, this is untrue. Accommodation was inconvenient and a small uncomfortable room. No TV, only DVD player with DVDs. No Wi-Fi. Price too high for inconvenience and no facilities.

Very happy with our stay, possibly an extra heater in mid winter, but otherwise a great stay.
Fox Hill is ideal for a quick getaway, well located, clean and nicely furnished. But best of all are the free-spirited cats who cuddled with us in front of the fireplace on a rainy evening!
Unfortunately, our overnight stay was spoiled by the blaring of shebeen music that continued all night. This resulted in us leaving exhausted the next morning at 07:00 and therefore not spending a peaceful Sunday morning in Dullstroom.

We loved staying at Fox Hill! This is a stunning private apartment in the heart of Dullies. You are on the main street, in easy walking distance to the restaurants and shops, but without the hustle and bustle. Perfect location! The apartment is beautifully and comfortably furnished and Jacqui is a stellar host, super friendly and very helpful. We can highly recommend Fox Hill!

The chalet is tasteful and very neat. Friendly service from the person on duty.
We were advised to park our motorbike inside the unit for the night as there are a lot of motorbikes stolen in the town. It would be ideal if there was a lock-up area. But nevertheless, it's a stunning place and definitely value for money, more than we expected. The fireplace was already packed when we arrived and the two kittens spent the night with us. Very special.
We absolutely love this cottage, Jacqui the host contacted me 4 says in advance asking if there was anything additional she could arrange which I thought was a very nice touch. I just would like to mention a few things, any reason why the hairdryers are kept at reception, no mention of Wi-Fi and lastly, maybe consider some burglar bars on a few of the windows just so one can leave a few open. Otherwise this cottage is just awesome. O and sadly very noisy due to all the trucks passing through town.

Water got cold quickly from geyser, would have liked WiFi and TV! Room was cold (month of August), and we had to buy wood from Fox Hill to keep room warm.
We were kindly received and the room was clean and everything in working order. We liked the Loft room with its balcony, away from the thoroughfare. It is safe and within walking distance of the tourist attractions. We would love to use it again in the future.

All problem we experienced is that we had to enter at 14:00 and we couldn't until 15:00.

Wow, what an incredible place! From the moment we arrived, my husband and I had just admired the tasteful decor, the warm atmosphere that was created and the absolute benefit of the underfloor heating and the decanter with sherry. We will definitely stay overnight again and definitely for longer than one night!
Everything about this room was special. Crisp linen, underfloor heating, fireplace with ample wood, lovely bath, Sherry. Walking distance to everything. Exactly what we wanted!

A wonderful place for a getaway. It is very unique and stylish. I would definitely visit Fox Hill again.
We started our Easter weekend holiday in Dullstroom doing a road trip. We were very happy with the little romantic cottage that we booked. The host Elle and her staff were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely return to Fox Hill. The only suggestion I would make is to add extra steps to the bathroom as they are very high.
We were kindly welcomed in Afrikaans. The room was nicely furnished for one night's sleep. Was also easy with our 4 month old baby. The fireplace in the room was lovely even though it was summer. One bad comment is that we had to wait half an hour to get into our room. They did try to get us into our room as quickly as possible. The caretaker of the place, Albert, also helped my husband with the cart. For sure a place to stay in Dullstroom.

Fascinating atmosphere. Reminds me of certain authentic British films from a certain era. Friendly cats.
The place is well furnished with a lot of romantic elements and a lot of attention to detail. The wood for the fireplace was welcome for the cool evening as well as the candles and sherry to complete the picture. It was just strange not to have a sink with a faucet in the lower room, after all it is a self-catering unit. The two stairs from the bedroom to the bathroom are dangerously deep with no arrangement. The directions according to the GPS, as well as the advertisement, lead you to Lesedistraat at the back of the property, which is difficult to see in the dark.
We had a great sleep, but the place is very very small and really not suitable for 2 adults. Maybe better for a single person.
We had a great stay, just a pity the unit we chose was so close to the main road. The trucks never seem to stop driving which makes it a little noisy. The unit was nice clean and tidy and very comfortable. A bit full with all the furniture but it gives a nice cosy feel to the room. We enjoyed Dullstroom.
Fox Hill is a beautiful, neat place with a very cozy atmosphere. I feel very sorry for the guesthouses, because some club opened up that parties throughout the night and therefore we could not sleep at all and the reason why I do not recommend the guesthouse or any other guesthouse in that area.
