The 2 rondavels can accommodate 2 guests each and each has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The 1 outside family room accommodates 4 guests and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. The second outside unit also accommodates 4 guests, preferably a family, as the shower is shared. The Ou Stal Room accommodates 2 guests and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The House's kitchen has everything guests will need for a care-free, self-catering stay, including a stove and oven, combination fridge-freezer, a second fridge, a microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a dishwasher, crockery and cutlery. The kitchen also has indoor braai facilities. The lounge has comfortable seating, as well as an entertainment area with a pool table and dart board. Full DStv is available. There is a trampoline outside. Guests also have access to free Wi-Fi. The open-plan kitchen has a built-in braai and there are braai facilities outside.

Very quiet and tranquil venue.
A bigger TV screen is unfortunately a must in today's society, especially in a country where rugby is watched on weekends. Walking routes from the house with footpath marking and map will be a welcome activity at home.
Hands down, one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. There is a solid dirt road.
Nice old farmhouse with everything you need. We are interested in plants and birds and the pristine environment of the mountains made the experience that much more satisfying. And to get away so totally. No Vodacom! And the silence is the greatest luxury.
Beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Beautiful old farmhouse and very stylishly redone. The type of silence and tranquility one finds in few places.
There is more than you can think of to make your stay very enjoyable. And we all enjoyed the pool table so much!
We were a large group of family and friends and also a dog or two who went along. There is plenty of sleeping space and everything is very neat and stylish. The teenagers and younger children really enjoyed the pool table and the table tennis and never even got around to watching TV. You have to walk around to get signal, but it suited us. Bettie came to clean every day which was an added bonus for us. The barn with the large kitchen and dining table was a winner for our group of 17 people. There was absolutely nothing we lacked and we even got more than 4 liters of farm milk as well as biscuits and coffee. We went to climb the mountain - very steep, but for the fit ones worth the climb and then simply cooled off in the animals' manger. The road from Vrede is very bad due to large potholes and is about 35 km of dirt road of which probably 15 km is bad. You should preferably drive here with a van. Our son-in-law drove a Polo which added an extra hour to his driving time. There is an old box TV with lots of DVDs for the children as well as DStv. A nice farm pond to swim in in the summer would make this destination perfect. Thank you very much for your hospitality Ina!
This is such beautiful farm, great place to stay with family and friends. It is exceptionally clean, it have great customer service and definitely great value for money. There is lot you can do: you can go for walks, go for bicycle rides, play pool. I would recommend this beautiful farm to everybody.
Highly recommended. Staff extremely attentive.Thank you Bessie and Martha as well as Betonog. Even had fresh farm milk delivered to us. Beautiful linen on all beds. Luxury in a slipper bath. The views magnificent. Sheep lambing. Young and old enjoyed and did not want to leave. Garden so well manicured. Whether it was raining or sun shining, we enjoyed every minute. Thank you to Ina Scholtz and family for opening up their home to us. We will definitely be going on a regular basis now. Best guest farm find ever. Wishing the Scholtz family a great and prosperous 2020.
We were very surprised with the very spacious farmhouse, complete with extra sleeping space in the outbuildings. (Some of the bedrooms are about the size of a bachelors in the city.) The place is very well equipped for large gatherings, even with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
At first we wanted to stay here and drive around, but when we set foot ashore we decided we just wanted to stay here! A great place to get away if you want to escape from society. Even the cell phone is not even missed.
