We had a great stay, the unit was very clean and tidy and wonderfully spacious. Secure parking and also a beautiful lapa to braai.
Good location. Easily found. Very clean units. Everything needed was there. Clean towels every day. Room was serviced. Location is safe and so is the premises. Would stay there again anytime.

I would recommend it for a quick sleepover or a longer stay depending on which room. Our room had zero, zero windows that could be opened. It bothered me a lot. In front of a large glass sliding door, but had to close it in the evening and then there was nowhere to open for fresh air. Luckily it was cold.
Quiet and very helpful. Very nice.
Problems with water and electricity. Power is low for the microwave.
I just need a table in the room where one can work and eat.

Pleasant. Comfortable.
We just slept over. The neighbours' dog kept barking. The room was poorly equipped; no fan, reading lamps, iron, cooking facilities (pots/pans/bowls), hangers. Little parking space, especially if large vehicles park. During reception, a lady was stretched out on the couch in the lobby. We will definitely not stay there again.
Room was very warm. No air conditioner. Bathroom had an unpleasant smell that was smelled into the room.
1. Water supply: Power stops the pump, only on the last night they realize there are 2 valves that must be open to get water directly from the city council! 2. Last night 21:00 when we returned: Both parking areas blocked with vehicles of people who are not paying residents, as contained in rules. And then owner of vehicle asks me where I want to park. 3. We didn't swim, but water looks cloudy and green? 4. Room has glass door with strong security light directly above it, so we have to sleep in bright daylight!

Very clean accommodation. Tania was friendly and very helpful. We just wish we had wardrobes to pack our clothes. The clothes hanger is not functional for longer stays. Lovely swimming pool and braai facilities look very nice for summer. Cabinet in the bathroom would have been convenient to place vanities.
Located close to shops and ideal for exploring places as it is affordable.
The bedside lamps do not work. Just enough coffee and sugar for 1 person. Will not go there again.
I enquired whether the gate would be locked for safety and was told yes as the gate motor was not functional. To our disappointment the gate was not locked throughout the night. There were 4 dinner plates, 4 small plates and 1 bowl. The cutlery was at a minimum with forks, butter knife and 2 teaspoons. We had to buy dinner as there was no way that we could cook or braai due to the lack of braai tongs, knifes. I would not recommend this place. We were in unit 14. I have taken photos of the areas mentioned in this summary.
I would recommend the place to other friends, I hope I'll come back again.
Tanya is very accommodating and tries to do everything to make people feel comfortable. Amazing person.
The only issue that I had was that not you are supposed to be in until 14:00 which can make it difficult when you arrive earlier with a car full of luggage, etc. However I did converse with the owner about it and she did allow us in earlier which helped tremendously. Thank you very much to all the staff who were very friendly and helpful.
Men's toilet terribly inconvenient, space between toilet and door is not even 300 mm. This causes you to sit on the toilet with difficulty. Also in showers there is no place to hang and a mat would be welcome to stand on if you dry off and want to get dressed. Otherwise it was value for money.
My son had to come through for an exam, so afterwards it was nice to just relax in the unit. The accommodation is also very close to places to eat so that helped a lot.
A chair in room would be convenient. Maybe also cloth with which you can dry off coffee cups. Mop in bathroom, Shower - floor wet.
The room we were given did not have a microwave as per photo, but a very dirty burned-on 2-plate stove. One drinking water glass for two people. Almost no kitchen utensils, pots or pan. Definitely not for self-catering!
No complaints. What a wonderful 3 days although we were there for a funeral.
We had a great time at Framesby. Rooms clean and bed comfortable. My only problem was being told by the cleaning staff that they only change towels every 3 days. It's very bad to be stuck with wet towels for 3 days. The bar fridge in our room had a bad smell and water was dripping, no one bothered to remove it after I had complained. Otherwise the place was beautiful.
No light in bathroom. No spoons on tea tray. Key box inaccessible after exiting at security gate. Shower in bath without safety mat. No drinking water in room.
They were busy with extensions and did not secure walking spaces for guests and are not hospitable at all.
It's a guest house but you have part kitchen and part bathroom.
Will definitely visit again, very economical and helpful!

The place was neat, but there were cockroaches. We would stay there again, but it would be good if the place could be disinfected. There is also a beauty salon and the guest bathroom is shared with the customers. Because of that it's not quite private.
The place is neat and the rates are very reasonable. Only the shower over the bath has no curtain or protection. As a result, the entire bathroom is under water.
The bedding was not good. It stank.

The rooms were only ready after 3 hours and then there were no bowls for breakfast in our room. After the email said check in is 2h, stayed there before and it was very nice but this time I was a bit disappointed, recommended it to family and actually felt ashamed because what I said it was is not what we got that time.

Apart from the building work and the fact that we had to share bathrooms, the wait for a room was very unprofessional, we wanted to go to bed before our show started at 20:00 that evening but had to sit and wait with two children for more than an hour and a half.
We were a large group of almost 15 people, we felt very welcome and had a great stay. The cleaners are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of secure parking and the rooms are clean and tidy.
Service was very good with very friendly staff. Rooms were neat and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen are neat. There is a warm, homely atmosphere. In very quiet area.
We enjoyed our time at Framesby Guesthouse, although it was only for one night. We would stay there again, but hope the units might get a bit of an upgrade.
The only problem we had was that the television was too high and that too many power cables are serviced by just one wall socket. Had to unplugg the kettle to be able to watch TV. We couldn't sit and watch because you have to bend your neck backwards to see. There is only one chair. It will be awesome to stay there in summer, with the swimming and braai facilities that are available. Nice and quiet area.
There were no bedside lamps in the room. The water was lukewarm when we went to bathe and there was not enough coffee. There was just enough coffee for the morning for two of us.
You automatically expect an en suite room. Sharing ablutions at my age is unacceptable.
It was really bad timing for us at Framesby, because it was a very muddy and unpleasant situation. Except for the fact that it was after heavy rains and they were busy with some constructions, it is such a lovely place to be, and it is very clean. The only other thing that put me off was the carpet in our room. Otherwise, everything else was perfect considering what we paid. It was really value for money. I will definitely use that place when I visit PE again.

We enjoyed the rest and slept very well.
Framesby guest house's rooms are spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. My friend is in a wheelchair and could easily move around the room/kitchen with his chair during his visit to me. It is also very neat and clean. The beds are comfortable with firm mattresses. The guest house is also very centrally located. Safety of cars is ensured by parking them in fenced yard. The staff is really extremely friendly and helpful.

Accommodation is comfortable and pet friendly. We easily stayed there with our 4 bassets. If you are bringing pets, I would recommend booking a room with a private garden and private bathroom. The owner is very accommodating, friendly and helpful!
However, there are some shortcomings that can be corrected. No hooks in the bathroom for clothes. No bedside lamps. Too much light in the room during the night due to no curtains in front of the corrugated glass door and window. The staff was very nice and the room was neat and clean.
Bed linen was washed but not ironed. Toilet paper was never replaced. Room was not cleaned every day either. Couldn't really use cupboards as they weren't tidy inside. Also had a great time in PE.
There are just a few things that need a little finishing. I would suggest that the ad be adjusted as the photos and booking do not indicate that the 3 person room has to share a common bathroom with two other rooms. Although Pieter was perfectly willing to give us another room, we were lucky that the room was available 3 of the 4 nights we wanted to stay. The self-catering facility consists of a fridge, microwave oven and frying pan, so one's options for cooking are very limited.
I can't really say why, but I won't be staying there again.
One bathroom with 5 showers and a toilet for so many guests. We had to brush our teeth at a gas station after waiting an hour for a turn in the bathroom. The shower curtains are boarded up and filthy. The room floors are so dirty that within minutes our feet were pitch black from walking barefoot in the room. Wooden floors do not work with so many guests. The noise until late at night as everyone in the corridors and rooms up and down doof-doof was extremely disturbing. The TV only has one channel. And finally the paper thin pillows.
The double room we got does not look at all like the pictures on the internet. The shower floor is dirty and black from the tackle. The bathroom window is not frosted AND it looks directly onto some common utility room. People in the washroom can therefore look directly into the bathroom because the organza curtains are not thick enough. The ceiling and walls are dirty and damaged. I wouldn't recommend it, not even for R400 a night.
