Breakfast is included in the price. It was an unexpected surprise.
The accommodation is highly rated, yet I found the quality disappointing. The carpets in the rooms are dirty. 4 fluffy pillows and wrinkled bed linen. The interior is also not tasteful and very basic. The breakfast was nice. The Lowveld has so much to offer.
The lodge is exactly as marketed. The sleeping place was large and stylish. Here you feel that you are getting value for your money. The Orange Restaurant served the most delicious food with the most peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was just perfect. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
Due to the Covid travel restrictions this place has unfortunately been neglected. Amazing view and location, horribly let down by the state of the rooms. Linen was threadbare, towels old and no longer fluffy. No fancy toiletries. Only old dusty bath-salts. Limited mini bar. Mattress was so hard. We were unfortunately very disappointed! We wanted a nice luxury 5 star stay for one night and got a 3 star outdated room overlooking the security guard who could see right into the bedroom. Blinds didn't fully close and at night anyone in the parking lot could see into the room.
It was a lovely experience, especially our dinner at Orange Restaurant - it was delicious. The staff is very helpful. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the security, unfortunately they let the restaurant's customers park in the reserved parking space of the resident guests, and he was not willing to help at all. There was no parking available. After half an hour of waiting, there was a parking available for the first time!
The rooms are specious and clean, quiet place.
Our stay was very nice. We did have no hot water one night, which was quite uncomfortable. Inevitably, the switch was off and then the evening's food service at the restaurant was rather awkward. For some reason the load is too big and then the entire lodge's power keeps shutting down. This happens at least 4 times in an evening during dinner time. It was super annoying. Other than that, everything was very nice.
Very nice guest house with beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and a fantastic restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
