Neat, clean and spacious.
A very nice place to stay. Nice breakfast, fantastic workers and options for dinner. The rooms are some of the best I have ever experienced. It is of international quality.
We got married on Saturday, the 29th and upon our arrival on the 30th, we were very surprised with the special effort and the sparkling wine and rose petals that decorated the room. We were very surprised and we greatly appreciate this surprise that awaited us. Thanks again to the staff who made our stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay at the Franschhoek Boutique Hotel again. Our booking via the website was also easy and convenient. Thank you very much for that.

It was nice. Unfortunately the geyser was off (just after load shedding) and we couldn't use the nice bath and shower head!

Location was perfect as you could walk straight out to the village. We only had breakfast on one morning, and it was a hot, tasty English breakfast. The room was great, stunning view, comfortable, and clean. Could not fault anything.

The hotel is very conveniently located - in a side street, a few steps from the main street. Customer service at the hotel itself was excellent but I got a call a day before to ask if they could move me because they had a double booking and it was handled very poorly. The hotel is so neat, but two of the white pillowcases on my bed were stained and it broke.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was neat and clean. The breakfast was also excellent. Some things in the room that bothered are e.g. the towels were a bit worn, the coffee machine was dirty and some things in the bathroom needed attention.
Room was spacious. Loved the fireplace. Pity our bath plug didn't work well. Water ran out while we tried to fill the bath. Cup at basin also not clean. The hot breakfast was delicious. Staff friendly. Not worth the money if it's not on special rates.
Without the 40% discount, it is actually not affordable for South Africans. They should consider charging us other prices.
I think what made it the most enjoyable was the fireplace in the room! Especially for the rainy and cold winter days!

Well positioned and the breakfast is great. The layout of the room and bathroom is great. I really liked the smart TV and being able to use Netflix. It was a nice touch.
Many luxurious rooms that are beautifully furnished! The bathroom has a beautiful bath and large shower with a sliding glass door that can slide away. They have a beautiful view of the Franschhoek mountains which can be seen from double glass doors from your room. The room was clean and tidy with friendly staff. The hotel is close to many restaurants and art galleries. It really is a beautiful place to come and rest in style!
Value for money, excellent staff and food good. Location also good as one can walk to all places of interest, wine trips etc.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast is delicious. The rooms are really very nice and have a beautiful view of the vineyards and the mountains.
We got the booking on a special offer. We were able to stay here thanks to Covid which caused that there are very few foreigners and therefore the accommodation was made affordable for South Africans.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and tidy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff did everything possible to adhere to the Covid-19 regulations. The hotel is also very centrally located and everything was within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone.

From the evening of our arrival to the morning we left, everything was just perfect: service, food, etc.
Accommodation was very neat and spacious. Fireplace in cold weather is always a bonus.
The parking area as well as the stairs and porch on the way to the entrance of the hotel were disappointing. The stoep appeared neglected and unfortunately this is the first impression of the place. There is also an unused room full of old things, 'house junk' and storage room that you walk past on your way to the reception area. Not attractive at all. As soon as you step into the reception, you get the 'luxury' you expect. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety to choose from. The manager and his team were friendly and very attentive to us as guests. Room was beautiful and the Morso stove that was lit when we returned after a meal out made the room wonderfully 'cozy'. For the price, I expected slightly more.
