There are 2 bedrooms furnished with queen-size beds and with open-plan bathrooms fitted with a shower only. The third bedroom is an inter-leading room between the passage and the main bedroom which has doors on both sides. This room contains a bunk bed for 2 children, not adults. The fourth bedroom is located in the loft and contains 2 single beds. The loft is accessible via stairs leading up from the bunk bed bedroom. The bathrooms in the bedrooms are shared by all the guests. There is a separate guest toilet available with a toilet and hand basin only.
The kitchen and open-plan lounge area leads onto the patio through stacking doors. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a gas stove and electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The lounge leads through large stacking doors onto a covered patio area with outdoor dining furniture and a built-in braai fireplace.
There is a wood-fired hot tub available on the deck leading off the patio. Guests can relax in the hot tub while the braai fire is going on the patio. The view from the patio of the Outeniqua Mountain Range is a special one.

7 guests' feedbackWe had a really nice stay. Service was excellent, always helpful and lovely fresh cow's milk every day, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs some quiet time. The perfect getaway and the kids enjoyed it just as much.
Accommodation in the heart of the Garden Route with both forest, farm and sea elements within easy reach without the hustle and bustle of the town/city. Absolutely perfect!
Beautiful location. Hot jacuzzi. Friendly service. Neat and clean. Everything you need for a fantastic weekend getaway.
It was quiet and peaceful. If you need a break from the rush, it is perfect.
However, we would be remiss not to highlight certain aspects of our stay that fell short of our expectations, largely due to a lack of clarity at the booking stage. As a paying customer, receiving the terms and conditions two weeks after the booking is not good.

The house is very clean, tidy and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the whole atmosphere of the house makes you feel very much at home. The children were able to play safely outside and really enjoyed it. The environment is picturesque. The hostess's organization and communication were great.

House rules
There is a 150 m gravel road leading to the cottage. The gravel road is in good condition and is suitable for all cars.Wi-Fi tickets are available at an additional cost, however, the first 512MB ticket is free of charge.
Any outstanding balances toward your reservation must be deposited in full, 5 working days prior to arrival.
Parties, functions or events are not allowed unless previously arranged with management.
Pets are not allowed.
Loud music is not allowed.
Music is not allowed after 22:00.
Shooting is not allowed, including air guns.
Day visitors are not allowed unless prior arrangements were made and agreed on with management.
Motor- and quad bikes are not allowed on the farm and the trails. It may only be used as a means of transportation to and from the cottages.
Smoking is not allowed in the units.
Furniture and utensils may not be moved between the units.
Linen and towels are provided for use inside the units, but own swimming towels are required.
We occasionally have problems with baboons and vervet monkeys entering the cottages. Please keep all windows closed when leaving the cottages.
Feeding the baboons and the monkeys is not allowed.
Please leave the cottage the way you found it.
Full garbage bags are to be placed in the outside bins provided at each cottage. Cleaning staff will remove bags when they service the units, but sometimes there might be an overflow during the weekends. Please ensure that baboons, monkeys and other animals would not be able to get into the bins.
Parental supervision is required at all times.
