Accommodation is offered in 3 neat, cosy thatched rondavels that offer an authentic natural African feel, suiting couples or a small family. They overlook the green fields where our indigenous Nguni cattle graze. There are 3 bigger options; a traditional cosy private 8-sleeper cottage, a gorgeous large 10-sleeper rondavel ideal for large families, and our exclusive 12-sleeper farmhouse with a private pool and a magical view of the fields and mountains. All our houses have private gardens, braai areas, fire pits and wood-fired hot tubs.

5 guests' feedbackWe spent a lovely 3 days at Frog Mountain Getaway. The accommodation was clean with all amenities needed and super cosy. We will certainly go back in the summer to make full use of all the outdoor activities available.
The cottage was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. The information file provided was fully comprehensive. Walks were easy to follow, well marked and maintained. The waterfall and swimming pools were absolutely beautiful and well worth the effort. Focus on recycling and sustainability on the farm was noted and appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay.
Frog Mountain is a paradise for children! The waterfall and river kept them busy for hours. The cottage (Willow) has recently been redone and it now looks beautiful. Very comfortable kitchen with brand new appliances. The porch has also been enlarged with delicious seating options.
Frog Getaway really is a gem. It was one of the best places we have ever been to and everything was perfect. The photos on the website are a bit wrong, because Frog Getaway is so much nicer.
It was a lovely getaway, we would go again anytime. It is neat, clean and everything you need is there! Only problem that may need to be brought to the institution's attention is the mattresses in the first bedroom and the last bedroom are quite uncomfortable. Especially the first room, you can't turn around during the night, then it's noisy with the springs that move around all the time. Then also the toilet in the bathroom with the shower is also faulty which may need to be repaired.

The second bedroom is an upstairs sleeping loft accessed via a steep ladder with a safety gate. The loft contains 2 single beds, but an additional camper mattress can be made up on request for a third child. The kitchen and living area are open-plan.
