All suites are north facing with breathtaking views of Roodeplaat Dam and its surrounding vegetation. We provide great facilities for weddings and corporate conferences, including a chapel that can accommodate up to 200 people. We also boast with an on-site restaurant.
The nature rich area is ideal for a bushveld breakaway or romantic honeymoon and even a family vacation. We have a playground for the kids and a lapa where you can relax and enjoy a cool beverage on a hot summers day.

We had a great time. Everyone was very friendly and so helpful. We did not hesitate to ask for anything and nothing was too much or even impossible for Gabbata Lodge's people. Very hospitable. We would go back again anytime.

One can see by the security that has been installed, that they have tried to break in many times. It made me feel a little uneasy and the carpet didn't smell good to me.
From the moment we arrived at Gabbata until we checked out, we received nothing but the best service. Best food and value for money. The staff were also fantastic. Friendly from morning to night and always a smile on their face. We will definitely plan to visit there again. My experience with Babbata from start to finish was the best ever!

Was a really nice close enough getaway, with the most fantastic restaurant! All that can be improved is the privacy between self-catering units nos 17 and 18. It can work well if you are famous but it is too close for comfort as strangers. Will definitely visit again but this time in a non-self-catering unit.

Great stay! Rooms were a little cold, but the staff were friendly and everything was neat and tidy.
I was the only guest in the entire lodge with no staff on duty or even reachable by phone. I had to pay for breakfast that I couldn't eat because they served it much later than I could stay and no one from the lodge offered me an alternative. They simply shrugged and said the price includes breakfast whether you eat it or not. This poor service leaves a bitter taste, because the place itself is very nice, tidy and located in a nice area.
