We were very surprised with the little gem in the Karoo. Beautiful view, and appreciated the silence. Erik did a nice barbecue for us that evening and even served us dessert. The place to stay was wonderfully cool and very tidy. I would definitely recommend the place and will visit again. Thank you Family of 4.
It's a lovely place to stay. You can have dinner there. It's top notch. It's just damn hot, but luckily there are air conditioners. But now in the summer, where is it not hot.
Always great to visit Gannabos. As always, host Erik received us warmly and looked after us - nice barbecue with excellent side dishes for a very reasonable price. The location is beautiful with vistas over the plain where farm animals and game goats graze all day in front of the cottages. Rooms are spotless and excellently equipped. The common meeting area is cozy with a very nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Gannabos.

Would most definitely recommend Gannabos Guest House. Our host Erik welcomed us and made us feel comfortable, he prepared the most delicious breakfast and dinner, the Melktert was out of this world (wish I had gotten the recipe before leaving). The cottage was spotlessly clean, and the comfortable bed was much appreciated after the long trip. Will most definitely stay over again.

What an experience! It's really a very nice guest house and our host, Erik, ensured an unforgettable time. The food was top notch. We still can't stop talking about the delicious feast. We couldn't have asked for a cleaner, quieter, more beautiful place. Next time we will stay longer. We also then bring the binoculars because those plains around the guest house are a treat for the eyes. It will also take a long time before I forget about the beautiful stars we saw here. Nothing better than this farm to enjoy a well-deserved break. We were very well received and made comfortable. Thanks Eric! Everything was in place and we were really well looked after. Never once had to ask for the next thing. Was so comfortable to have a particularly nice time next to the campfire and the whole braai meal appeared like a magic story from the top shelves. We will have to visit again.

Lovely place with the most beautiful sunrise! The kitchen is a bit neat but luckily you don't have to cook yourself, because the guest house provides delicious dinners and breakfasts. Very convenient overnight stop when driving from the Cape to Gauteng. Slightly off the main trail, but the tranquility makes it worth it.
I was pleasantly surprised with Gannabos. It started to rain when I stopped there. There is nothing better to me than the smell of soil and rain. Make it part of your journey to kick out your shoes and find yourself again. The room is very neat. All furniture is made with sleeper wood and the dining room has a large fireplace where it is made into a fire and you can spend time with your fellow travellers. Erik also makes the most delicious food for you and nothing is too much trouble for him. I really want to come back and spend more time.

As a nature lover, the surrounding plants and stones are very beautiful. Gannabos brought the two together beautifully and the stay was extremely pleasant.
Only problem was that there was no clear Gannabos Signage and they did not send us the gate code.
Our reception was warm and welcoming. The living environment fantastic - private sleeping facilities and central dining and relaxation area, with all services imaginable available. Nice farm setting with game on the horizon. Beautiful surroundings. Rest for the soul.
