Our stay of three nights was memorable. Nothing was too much trouble for Lienkie, who hosts the B&B. She drove us to the Newton Park swimming pool, where my husband was swimming in a competition, at her own expense. She also tried to assist us in changing our flight times - and again - always with a smile. We highly recommend Garden Gate B&B. The only constructive criticism is wardrobe space. A broader and shorter (the hanging rail was very high up) cupboard would be welcome. Apart from that the bedrooms were delightful.

Wij hebben drie heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in Suite on Sea. Het was fijn om tijdens ons verblijf half Afrikaans, half Nederlands te kunnen praten. Nita was een geweldige gastvrouw. Ze was bekommerd om ons welzijn. De suite was luxe en echt waar voor je geld - voor Hollanders is dat altijd belangrijk :). We hebben iedere ochtend ons ontbijt genoten op het bankje aan de oceaan. We konden wegdromen over de zeevaarders van vroeger die hier voor de kust moeten hebben gezeild. Eerst de Portugezen, later us en onze voorvaders in dienst van de VOC.
The guesthouse is centrally located, close to most business destinations. Kindly received. Rooms are comfortably furnished with the necessary, very comfortable. Only suggestion is that rooms be furnished with small refrigerators, especially for people staying longer than 1 night. The continental breakfast was delicious. Really a bonus!
I like the minimalist interior decoration. One of the few guesthouses I have visited where the floors in the living units are level without tripping hazards! If possible I will go there again.

Garden Gate is everything that they advertise. It's exceptionally neat, modern and spacious. The continental breakfast is a bonus and the hostess is very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay there again.
We asked to check in after 5. The lady was very accommodating and received us with true hospitality. She also helped us to get to our destination again the next day. The room is also very neat and modernly furnished.

Friendly service, neat and clean. All that I can suggest is that there should be plain glasses in the rooms and maybe bottled water.
