Garonga Safari Camp is an exclusive tented camp ideally positioned in the greater Makalali Conservancy, west of the Kruger National Park.
Garonga Safari Camp's philosophy is to offer a distinct, relaxing and holistic wilderness experience allowing you time to reflect and find inspiration in nature. The camp reflects the surroundings of the bush's textured earthy colours and clean lines have been incorporated with fine linen to ensure pure comfort.
The accommodation at Garonga Safari Camp comprises 6 en-suite luxury tents that can each accommodate 2 people and is ideally positioned in this exquisite safari landscape. Each of the luxury tents is sculpted out of rough-plastered walls and overarching canvas tents, and the rooms are light, airy and spacious with large, king-size draped beds and indoor as well as outdoor showers. The tents overlook a dry riverbed, and have a wooden deck complete with a hammock that commands spectacular views.
Guests can cool down in the swimming pool, make use of the Wi-Fi access, and secure parking is provided.
Activities such as early morning and afternoon game drives with our expert guides and trackers allow our guests to experience the wide variety of animals in our nature reserve. A safari walk with a game ranger is another highlight, bringing our guests up close to the fauna and flora of the reserve. Additional activities on offer include a bush bath, a sleep-out in the bush on a platform deck, a massage under a sala overlooking the riverbed, picnics up in a tree and boma dinners under the stars.
Nearby activities include the Big 5, bird watching, game drives, game viewing, guided walks and swimming.
