We arrived earlier than planned, but were welcomed with open arms. The Chalet was equipped with all the necessities for a cold winter's night in the free state with a breathtaking view over the plains.
Certainly, a place to recommend for an overnight stay. Well-equipped and lovingly decorated little apartment. All amenities, warm comfortable bed. The traffic on the tar road could only be heard faintly.
Was a welcome stopover on our way home and away from noise and city life, etc.

This is our second time at Gasvry Gastehuis and we have only received the best and friendliest service each time. We went home in the cottage this time and everything we needed was there and we were deliciously spoiled with yogurt, juices, farm fresh milk and nice biscuits for our morning coffee.
The unit had everything we needed. It gives a real farmhouse feeling and is cutely decorated, very neat and clean. The owner is very helpful and nice. We will stay there again.

Take a deep breath and enjoy the open space before you. Light the barbecue fire and take advantage of the excellently equipped kitchen that has everything and more. Our personal treat was finding the snackwich sandwich maker in the cupboard! Delicious buns made. And it was fun to stalk the interesting decor. Great sleep and hot shower. Perfect overnight stay during our Free State Toonklap.
The guesthouse is clean, beautiful garden and well situated. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Was a bit disappointed as the location is more of a smallholding (on the main route) and not a farm as such.
Cindy is a wonderful hostess, the accommodation was top notch and we felt so at home. I just wanted to stay another night, but had to move on. I was very impressed with the decor and cleanliness. We will definitely stay there again.
Cindy received us. They went to great lengths to move us to another unit after bees came to say goodbye. Really had a great time there. Silence, delicious farm atmosphere and safe feeling.
What a beautiful, clean place, friendly service and really a gem of a place, can hear the lions roaring in the evenings and mornings and our hostess went out of her way for our little boy with her play area, can recommend to everyone .
Our unit was spacious and luxurious, and equipped with everything needed for self-catering. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a game camp with, among other things, springbok and nyala and if you're lucky, you'll hear the roar of lions on the neighboring farm! Highly recommended.
Gasvry is a very comfortable and cute cottage. Nice space and has all you'd need. The 2 bathrooms are a plus. Would recommend it anytime.

We were received very kindly by the hostess and immediately taken to our accommodation. She specially put heaters in the rooms so they were warm. The house was clean and tidy and the bedding soft to sleep in. We can definitely recommend the place.
