All rooms have bathrooms en-suite, televisions, tea and coffee making facilities. Our dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as required. Barbecues and other outdoor meals can be arranged.
We are located close to two major highways, giving easy access to Johannesburg, only 20 minutes away and Pretoria a mere 25 minutes away. For the shopper we are close to 3 large shopping malls, all of which contain many shops, cinemas, restaurants and night clubs. Other facilities available locally include: Golf courses, bowls, sailing and power boat clubs, horse riding, health clubs and bird watching. We are also close to the John Barrable Sports Hall.

Safe, friendly, professional.
The host was very friendly, he made sure that we enjoyed the best stay, but also a bonus was that our breakfast was included in our price, there was no extra payment needed. I think the mattress on our bed might need to be replaced, but we still had a great time there and were very close to our destination where we were busy at the weekend. I definitely recommend the guest house to anyone who needs a place to sleep over. Breakfast was also perfect to our liking.
It's quite unsafe and far from everything. The braai was dirty and full of bushes. The mattresses need to be replaced. The owner was not accommodating regarding no breakfast. We had to drive early to attend a tennis tournament and therefore did not receive breakfast. We only stayed 1 night and looked for alternative accommodation for the second night.
Close to the airport.
Rooms had everything I needed for my stay. Clean, neat, comfortable room. Peaceful atmosphere with friendly staff.
We had a friendly reception and would book there again anytime.

Intended as a transition from the airport to other parts of the northern province. The place is ideally located in a peaceful and safe environment. It may not be ideal for the more touristy areas of Johannesburg and Pretoria. The breakfast will satisfy any appetite. The rooms are nice and clean and kept on the side all the time.
The food was top notch.
Was supposed to attend seminar but I was not ready and decided to still go to Gateway Guesthouse and work on my assignments. Had a huge desk in my room to work on and ample supply of coffee. It was quiet and peaceful with the chickens and ducks in the garden. The room was spacious and breakfast was really good too.
Proposal of motorized gate for persons leaving and re-arriving late. Felt unsafe getting out of the car and struggling with a lock. Actions at the stairs to the second level, where we eat breakfast, can be a problem in inclement weather and for older people.
Maybe it was just the room that I had. It could do with a bit of refreshing. No adaptor in the room to charge a cell phone. Yes a bit tired.
To me it is a sleepover and not outstanding.
