I was happy with the accommodation, but the place needs a lot of work. Broken tiles, sofas area old and grimy, lights don't have covers and they mention braai facilities, but you're not allowed to braai and no full DStv, and I specifically asked them if they had full DStv.
My kids were expected to sleep in a couch, not even a proper sleeping couch.
The bathroom was a bit small, but otherwise the service was good. Ingrid met and helped us well.
I would give Ingrid Gelman 10 out of 10 for customer service, she went out of her way to help us. Thank you very much again, Ingrid. You are a star!
Accommodation was very good, except for guests who moved in and out of the guest house while trying to sleep and not exactly trying to be quiet. The glasses were sticky, they stuck to the tray. In one room, the sliding door separating the room and bathroom was broken - so there was an outside light shining in all the time, which also made it difficult to rest. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant. Would recommend again for sure. Was not living at the apartment as booked, but at la loggia guest house.
The information provided on the website that the apartment accommodates 4 adults is misleading. On arrival Ingrid informed us that the apartment will be cleaned on alternative days. This was not mentioned when I made a booking and the apartment was dirty because there were 4 adults using one small shower and the toilet. The apartment has 1 bedroom and we had to sleep on the corner lounge suite for the 3 nights which was very uncomfortable.
The place is very good. My only concern was the cleaning service. I'm not sure whether it is the cleaning liquids used, but the floor was always sticky and the plates seemed like they were not properly washed, if you look at them it looks like they were just wipeed, without using any dish liquid. Otherwise, a good stay.
We had a very nice stay, except for the bed.
