The open-plan living area features a kitchen, a lounge and a dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, stove, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining table can seat 4 people, while guests can relax on comfortable seating in the lounge area.
The living area opens onto a patio, featuring lovely views of the indigenous garden. There is an outdoor dining area, a reading bench and a hammock on the verandah.
There is secure off-street parking behind a locked gate. There is a load-shedding kit that includes a gas burner, kettle, torch and candles.

The place is attached to an existing house and cannot be seen from the street. There are also no signposts that say 'Gecko Cottage'. At the front house will help.

No loud music, parties or events. Please be considerate of the neighbours, all of whom are permanent residents.No children under the age of 13.
