On other days, enjoy everything Kruger National Park has to offer, take a walk or cycle around Marloth Park, or drive Marloth Parks river road, stopping off at each of the viewing points.
The house comprises 4 air-conditioned bedrooms and 2 safari tent bedrooms which can all accommodate 12 adults and 4 children in total. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and a child-only couch. A cot for an infant is available on request. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, the third bedroom has a double-size bed, and the fourth bedroom comprises 2 single beds. The 2 safari tent bedrooms have 2 single beds each accommodating adults and or children. Additionally, there are 3 couches available in the air-conditioned lounge area to sleep three children. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and has an en-suite bathroom with showers, except the fourth bedroom, which has a basin and toilet only. All the beds have mosquito nets, and the safari tents are mosquito proofed.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, freezer, gas oven, gas stove, air fryer, microwave, and ice machine. The kitchen is also equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The front sliding glass and screen doors open the whole main area of the house ensuring a flow through to the outdoor entertainment area, the stoep.
The perimeter fences have been removed allowing for the wildlife to roam more freely around Genet House Holiday Home ensuring a closer experience.
Marloth Park has three bush shopping centres suitable for self-catering, however there are larger grocery stores in the towns of Malelane and Komatipoort. There are several restaurants in Marloth Park.

24 guests' feedbackWe absolutely loved our visit and our hosts were great. We saw so many wild animals and loved the tranquility and sounds of the bush. Genet House exceeded our expectations in their setup, very spacious and each area was well designed to enjoy the experience. The air conditioners everywhere were also a bonus. Lots of extras also such as suntan lotion, etc. to animal feed. Would gladly recommend this home.
A lovely home to rest and relax in, with birds surrounding it with magical melodies. The patio is a treat to sit and watch the animals wandering past. We loved the genet, zebras, kudus, warthogs and bush baby visits. Stunning bird sightings. The house is spacious and has everything you need. Beds are comfy too. Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your home. I will be back.
Very nice stay! Clean, tidy and well equipped. Had a wonderful experience with the wild animals.
No 1 of houses we stayed in Marloth, everything needed was there and much more. Can't give any negative feedback. Master animals we have ever visited.
Very friendly reception from Andrew and explanation of how and where everything is. There is everything and more available in the house and even food for the animals that die every day. Would love to go back and stay longer. Would like to give a 20/10 mark for the friendliness and nice place.
Lovely, comfortable accommodation near the dirt road entrance to Marloth Park. Lots of game that you can feed and everything you need for a comfortable self-catering house. Our boys loved the pool table. The maid who comes in as early as 7am is somewhat inconvenient, but we just dropped her off in the middle of the day. All that's needed is a clothesline.
Lovely breakaway. The kids had a blast feeding the animals.
We really enjoyed the stay at Genet House, the children enjoyed the animals. The house is 'set up' with everything you would need.
Excellent visit. The animals were an experience!
Ideal wildlife paradise.
This location has quickly become our preferred destination! Our group consisted of four adults, two teenagers, and two young children. The accommodation exceeds all expectations, providing a perfect home away from home experience. We enjoyed frequent visits from various animals during our stay. The owners warmly welcomed us upon our arrival, ensuring we felt right at home. Every aspect of this house has been meticulously considered, leaving us already planning our return visit.
Genet's house is very neat and has everything you need. The outside area is very nice with many animals that come to visit all day.
The lapa and all the animals are wonderful.
We had a very nice stay. The house is very well equipped and there were many animals. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Are you looking for luxury accommodation, spacious rooms, value for money, friendly and helpful service? Then Genet is just the place for you. The house has everything you need.
I would go back to Genet House 100 times over. This place is amazing. Andrew and the team are better than amazing. They go out of their way to make this awesome place even more amazing. Thank you, see you soon again.
Lots to do. Very neat and enough space for a group of people. Saw many animals.
Andrew and Thembi made our stay so enjoyable. Everything you need is available. To feed the animals. Beautiful, comfortable home. We would love to visit again.
Genet House is a gem, beautiful, spacious and luxurious. Everything about the place is just superb. The host, Andrew made sure that we were comfortable and made our stay extra special. We were able to feed the animals in close proximity. My family really enjoyed themselves. We are definitely coming back.
The lodge is well appointed and is really a home from home. Andrew and his team go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The lodge is serviced daily and nothing seems to much to ask. The accommodation is ample, comfortable and contains appliances you would normally find in a home (not an accommodation rental). Each room had an ensuite, and mosquito nets for each bed, including a cot and it's own mosquito net in the main bedroom. However it's the outside entertainment area which was fantastic - a great spot to soak up the warm days and a great braai area. And to cap it all we had the most delightful visitors - genets, bush babies, banded mongooses, zebra, families of kudu, warthog and grey duiker. What a treat!
Great local animal sightings, comfortable fully equipped house with wonderful bedding and wonderful views.
Not only were the facilities great, but the hospitality of Andrew, the owner with all the unexpected bonuses, like the Genet who comes to eat on the veranda every night, the nightcaps, what a privilege to be able to be part of that experience. Have a great time and hang out with friends. Was absolutely worth it and will definitely go back again.
Peaceful getaway. Animal lovers paradise. 10 out of 10 for hospitality!
We were personally welcomed by Bev and Jack. The room was 5 star worthy. Breakfast was prepared with care and very delicious. It was also lovely to sit under the lapa with the kudus, warthogs, springboks and birds keeping us company.
