Everything we needed was at our disposal and serviceable.
One of the worst places I have ever stayed. Old, run down, tired, smelly from waterproofing problems in the kitchen cabinets against the shower wall, shower curtain and not a shower door, cold (no heater), unfriendly, unprofessional receptionist who was clearly out of her depth, other guests (or maybe the home owner? ) who repeatedly smoked marijuana outside the bedroom window. Beyond poor - totally unacceptable.

Staff were friendly. Internet didn't work at all, luckily I had my own there to use. Unfortunately had no hot water for the last 2 days. First time water was lukewarm and thought it was due to loadshedding, but when I didn't have any hot water the second time I ruled out loadshedding as the problem. Shower curtain is too short and floor around shower is soaking wet after showering. Furthermore, the pans, pots and utensils were not clean. There was no dish soap to wash it with, which I think should be provided in a unit with a kitchen. The pan provided also no longer works on the induction plate that is in the unit and I have to fry meat in a pot. The cupboard under the sink in the kitchen has a terribly unpleasant smell.

We slept over because my daughter had to go for a minor operation. The guest house was extremely well located for our needs. The secure covered parking was very good. The unit met all our needs and was very neat and clean. I would recommend the place.

We received the best service upon arrival, check in was only from 14H00 and we were accommodated as we had earlier flights we checked in at 12:30 which was awesome.
The unit is well equipped with basic amenities. You might consider hanging darker curtains for those of us who want to sleep in a little more in the morning. Other than that everything is good.

The room meets all the needs. For someone who has a close relative in the hospital, it is nice and close. The bed sleeps great! And the fan kept cool. It's very neat, clean and peaceful. TV with full DSTV works well as well as WiFi. I would definitely like to stay there again if the opportunity arises.
Very nice, clean and tidy place. I would only suggest that more braai spots be considered for the units as there is only one on site. Also missing a few things like a braai tong and meat bowl, otherwise everything was more than sufficient.

Had to check out after one night although booking was for 2 nights. Office was closed & had to leave key with a cleaner. Nobody followed up with us.
Bathroom tiles and ceiling black mold. Refrigerator not set cold. Site felt a bit neglected. However, staff were friendly and helpful.
We booked for 6 people, only 1 toilet roll between 2 bathrooms and 5 towels. No face towel. No braai facilities (as advertised) braai, tongs or steak-knives, fetch old drum from garage that was on the ground. Only 3 dirty garden chairs. No safe parking (as advertised), place is not fenced. Garden was dirty, grass was not cut. No bulb in dining room light. Rooms and bedding are clean and tidy. When we contacted Pieter (probably manager) he was very unfit and hung up the phone. We did not receive at all what we paid for as advertised.
I stayed over for 6 days on a business trip. The unit had everything I needed. It was clean, well equipped, comfortable and with a strong internet connection. I found it private and quiet. The staff were well trained and kept me informed. Thanks for the stay.

We noticed a late arrival fee that is not mentioned on the booking sites. Tap water can not be consumed for drinking - no warning to bring water with or water supplied for the eve. We had to go out to look for water.
It is well located for guests who want to visit Panorama Mediclinic, less than 5 minutes' drive. It is located close to PicknPay and Super Spar. Has secure parking.
They might be able to tighten up their bedding, otherwise everything is great and very tidy, friendly, helpful.

Getaway met all our expectations as a comfortable B&B for two nights.
A) Toilet/shower has no window, only 2 vents. Totally inadequate. I don't need to spell it out. b) No 'refresher' for toilet. c) No wine glasses or corkscrews (the Cape is then the wine mecca). d) On arrival the kitchen sink was clogged. This was unit B.
The room is advertised for 2 guests - it's very cramped and perhaps more suitable for 1 person? There are no cupboards or storage space to store your clothes or luggage, we were called twice during our journey from Mossel Bay to Cape Town to ask how far we were, they wanted to close the office at 18h00 to go do something else - we had to each time explaining nicely that our trip is unfortunately taking us longer than we planned. Almost felt like we were on our way to the school dormitory.
We were satisfied and could come and go as we pleased. Always felt safe and slept great.
The place is well located and safe. We really enjoyed our time there.
