Sharon, the owner, was very friendly and called to find out when she could expect us. The cottage was neat and clean with everything needed. The accommodation is very comfortable and the private pool and veranda with braai facilities were a plus for us. With only 20 km to the Malelane gate, it is conveniently located near the KNP for day visits. We will easily stay at Gecko Cottage again if we want to go to KNP.

Sharon immediately made us feel welcome, had everything we needed and a very clean and tidy cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's ideal for overnight stays and visiting the wildlife park every day. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it without hesitation.
This cottage makes you feel at home! Neat and comfortable with everything you need. Nice to have the pool on your front porch for the hot days. Sharon was very friendly and just wanted to help everywhere - a must if you can't get a place in the wildlife park.
