Located on the ground floor, the Clamshell Suite and enjoys a lovely garden view.
The suites have private entrances, and they are furnished with a queen-size or king-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower only, or a full bathroom. A TV with selected DStv channels, Wi-Fi access, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a minibar fridge is provided in each suite.
Guests can enjoy breakfast is served in the breakfast room while enjoying the ocean view, or relax in the lounge.
Gilcrest Place Guest House is a non-smoking establishment, and off-street parking, which is patrolled at night, is provided.
Paternoster offers various restaurants and cafes, and guests can take a stroll on the lovely beach, go horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, watch the whales and dolphins in season, do some bird watching, and in spring be treated with the sight of the blooming flowers. Gilcrest Place Guesthouse certainly has the most breathtaking location in the whole of Paternoster. Our hosts Dee and Andrew were very kind and welcoming without being overbearing. My husband and I stayed in the Lookout-suite which was a beautiful and comfortable suite with an astoundingly beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed this from our bed and the small patio attached to the room. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious. We loved the pleasant company of Peanut, Raisin and Misty, the hosts 3 small dogs. We had a delicious picnic on the beach. The picnic basket was kindly prepared for us by Dee. Gilcrest Place Guesthouse come highly recommended for a stay in Paternoster.

Gilcrest House is in a super position in Paternoster. Away from the noise. Spectacular views and very comfortable room which was private enough for us. Very hospitable hosts and they certainly were most pleasant and happy to help us with any request/information.
