We really enjoyed the neighbourhood and the atmosphere of Glenn House. Our host was super helpful, and we did not need to venture further than our balcony to view bush buck and Cape loerie. We also had a delightful beach walk from Brenton-on-Sea to Buffelsbaai and back. We spotted a few pods of dolphins and some intrepid human surfers.
It was a nice spot for what I required (overnight accommodation).
We had a very nice stay. The unit is beautiful, and the host/owner, Pat, really goes the extra mile to accommodate his guests. Definitely a place to recommend.

Quiet place to stay with nice braai facilities.
We are on a tour of 7000 km and sleep in a different place every night. Glen House is OK but would rather try another place in Knysna next time. LW. I am not full of fiemies.
Lack of space for food preparation. Reception was very friendly and pleasant.
I used the room to work during the week with excellent WiFi. I never had to use my own. The bucks and geese walk around freely and I was even visited by two Loeries. Combined with the lush garden inside the property and the natural flora outside, this is a definite revisit for me. The owner is friendly and always helpful, he went out of his way to make me feel welcome.
Pat is a wonderful host. My dog had a great time too. Beautiful area.

We really appreciated the silence and tranquility as well as the beautiful scenery and animal life.
No maintenance is done on the place, one cannot sit outside if it rains. The braai cannot be used. Inside it is small and you cannot cook.

Pat made us feel so welcome and was always available. Glenhouse is situated in a lovely natural garden. Every day we saw mallards ducklings and guinea fowls. Located close to everything and yet peaceful. Would love to go again.
It was a pleasant stay. After my two puppies almost caught their first goat they had to quickly learn to walk on a leash. Would recommend tick collar if walking with pets in the bird park. Will definitely stay there again if we go on holiday in that direction.
Joan is a warm, friendly person who is great to talk to. The unit is in a nature reserve and the goats are in the streets and gardens all day. The location is safe and quiet and it feels like you are staying in a forest. It is within walking distance of the jetty at the lagoon, with the most beautiful view. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely go again.

Our accommodation was well-equipped, private, very neat and clean, in a beautiful tree-lined environment with plenty of birds, guinea fowl and bush buck. Quiet and safe environment where one can go for a nice walk. Our host, Pat, was very friendly and hospitable. And of course there is too much to enjoy and discover in Knysna and surroundings for one holiday, so yes, you'll want to come again and again!

Who would ever have thought you would stay in a log cabin in the bush! That such a thing exists. The bucks, birds and other animals on your doorstep. Under a tree blanket with the smell of the bush. The service was great. From the start I received great hospitality. Everything was neat and the location exceptionally beautiful. I was surrounded by peace and quiet. The drive there is something that everyone needs to experience. On top of the mountain surrounded by the Knysna Lake on one side and the sea on the other. Incredible, incredible, incredible!
Well located. a place where one can relax and really rest. Everything one needs was available. Really value for money.
Glen House is located in a beautiful setting. Nice big trees, clivias in flower and tame bush goats to complete the picture! The residential units are well equipped with everything you need. The Knysna lake is on your doorstep and the town is close by if you need anything. Will definitely go there again!
I spent the night here for a wedding. The apartment is not very modern. But met all my necessary requirements. The location is beautiful and the owner was very friendly.
It's worth noting that these guest rooms are on the first floor requiring climbing rather steep steps. Bit of a bother if you have knee or hip issues. With our stay both myself and my friend experienced that the gas hot water geyser would not turn on when opening the hot water tap. Required several tries to get it working. I have been to other places where gas geysers worked 100% but they do require proper tuning in order to work right. The rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely decorated and very quiet - a very good thing. Bosbok ram (game buck) with his harem came visiting. Lovely to see. Host was very accommodating. Glen House was only let down by the geyser.

We wanted to see the bushbucks and weren't disappointed. Lovely garden, accommodation. Stay at least 2 nights to fully appreciate the place. Outside the mosquitoes bit in the evenings, but inside there were appliances to keep them under control, so no problem. We do recommend guests to bring mosquito repellent.

While we were sitting in the room, the owner came in to tune the television. In the process, he broke my girlfriend's bag and didn't even apologize. After that we couldn't watch television at all - not even the station that did work when he got in there. The surroundings are very nice, but I still feel the overall image of the place is not up to standard.

Host very friendly. Facilities very clean and neat. I loved the buck wandering around and the abundance of birds is lovely to listen to.

Beautiful area in which to stay. Most of our group stayed in Brenton-on-Sea but after all my photos everyone came and looked at the deer around us. Will definitely bring my wife and sons. Patrick is a good person who looks after you well and ensures everything is perfect. Only thing I would suggest is notices that drinking water is very little in Knysna. Nothing at Glen House. Children could feed the goats. The beautiful goats ate from their hands. The parents sat at a braai place and enjoyed the surroundings with a fire and a glass of wine. We were not disturbed. The stay was unforgettable, thank you for a wonderful holiday.
