Physical place was great but owner/manager was very grumpy and have no idea how to speak to her clients. She should not be client facing. We had an accident and broke a suitcase stand. Upon checking out she was nowhere to be seen and I forgot to tell her about the breakage. I received a very unfriendly voice note via whatsapp to inform me that she found the breakage. I apologised and offered to pay for repair but this was ignored. We will not return and can't help wondering if other clients received the same treatment.

The room was very nice and homely. The kitchen was well equipped and there were also fresh flowers on the table. A few small snacks were available upon my arrival. The gardens around the rooms are beautiful! It's wonderful to drink coffee early in the morning on the stoep and listen to the birdsong.

I was traveling with my teenage daughter. Jennifer, without my asking, upgraded us to a two bedroom unit. The stay is really special.
The unit we stayed in was extremely tasteful, everything you could think of was there, from charcoal for a barbecue, wood for the fireplace to sherry for a cool evening. We also really enjoyed the cat that came to make her home. Glen Ormond offers great accommodation and the place is the tranquility of itself.
The place was even better than the pictures provided.

The owner-hostess (Jennefer) is proud, friendly, decent and goes out of her way to help. Each unit is actually a fully equipped two bedroom "upper class" house, stylish and complete. We have used many self-catering places and this one is by far the very best in every way. The beautiful gardens, setting and view are a bonus.

From the time we arrived until we departed we experienced 4 star treatment. The room we stayed in was exactly what I expected and more. The finer detail added in the room was a pleasant surprise. We attended a bull auction in Mooirivier and stayed here, just 6 km outside Mooirivier. We enjoyed our accommodation at Glen Ormond tremendously. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The fireplace, gas heater and electric blankets drives the Midlands cold away. The hostess, Jennifer, immediately made us feel welcome. There is a big lawn for children to run around and explore. We will definitely stay there again.
