The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare and cook meals, containing a fridge-freezer, a microwave, stove and other appliances as well as pots and pans.
There is comfortable seating in the lounge, as well as DStv and free Wi-Fi for media entertainment. The patio offers a built-in braai area for guests to use, and there is off-street parking for 1 vehicle. Glen View Cottage is 600 meters walk from the beach, and a 5-minute drive from shops, restaurants, as well as other facilities.
Guests are welcome to take delight in fishing, coastal walks, annual sporting events and festivals, surfing, or visiting the nearby reserves that are a short drive away from Glen View Cottage.

The accommodation is lovely, close to the sea with a nice view. It is also not far from East London airport. The facilities are great and the owner friendly and concerned about guests.
A perfect getaway. Lovely home close to the beach, very safe and peaceful. Highly recommend.

The place is very nice and safe. It has a nice sea view and it is close to walk to the sea. The host and hostess are 2 beautiful people and made us feel very welcome.
Very peaceful, pretty view, many places to visit, clean beach. A real holiday feel about the cottage. Convenient that washing could be done and cleaning of the cottage at an additional service and fee. Will visit again.

The place is quite a distance out of East London. TravelGround spelt Schalfi Road as Scheffli Road, so we could not pick it up on our App. But with the precise directions given by TravelGround we were able to find the place quite easily. The kids enjoyed the beach while I relaxed indoors with books provided by the owners of Glen View Cottage. It is a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. If you are looking to unwind, this is the place to be.
