The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are beautiful. It feels like we stayed in a 5 star hotel. Comfortable for a couple or for a family to just hang out and rest. House rules
- Be mindful of the environment.- A French drain system is in use. No foreign material or sanitary products can be flushed down the toilet, it will block the drains. A R1500 drain cleaning fee will be for the guest's account if any guest does not respect this important request.
- Turn off any appliances, electronics, lights, and heaters if not in use and/or before going out.
- There are farm animals and some of them make noise.
- Guests are welcome to walk in the mountain but please take care and educate all guests to stay away from areas that can be dangerous i.e. slippery rocks, unstable grounds, and water pools.
- No pets allowed
- No jumping on beds (kids and adults)
- Don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms
- Clean up spills and crumbs. They attract critters quickly.
- Please refrain from rearranging the furniture and take care when using amenities.
- No parties or events are allowed without prior permission
- No fireworks allowed on the property according to the municipal bylaws.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed inside or outside the house, including vaping, hubbly bubbly, tobacco or herbal cigarettes, and/or e-cigarettes. There is a designated smoking area in the garden.
- No fighting or violence of any kind will be tolerated. Guests will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund.
- The accommodation has full-time stay-in staff members. During working hours (Mon - Sat 07:30 - 18:00) they might be working in the garden and/or on the farm. They will not invade your privacy.
- Illegal substances are not allowed on the premises, or guests will be asked to vacate with no refund.
- If guests or their visitors damage the property or furniture (this includes stains, cigarette smells, etc.) guests will be liable for 100% of the cleaning costs.
- Please alert the owner immediately if anything breaks. They may not be able to fix it for the next guests if they aren't told right away.
- All units are rented on a self-catering basis and therefore do not include daily top-ups on the basics including coffee, tea, sugar, cleaning products, toilet paper, etc.
- Guests will be sharing the farm with a family. Please be respectful to everyone around and be mindful of your tone, noise factor and the language style you choose to use while staying here.
