The Stables @ Glenogle Farm is our favourite place to stay in Magoebaskloof. The Loft at Glenogle has always been special. Glenda and David are wonderful hosts – thanks guys, we will see you again.
It is the second time that we have stayed at The Stables and The Loft @ Glenogle Farm and previously stayed in another house on the same property. The host is without fail a host that makes sure everything is 100% right for your stay and ensures that we are not without anything during your visit. Could not recommend The Stables and The Loft @ Glenogle Farm enough.
Very beautiful place.
A home from home that wrapped its 'welcome' around us from the moment we arrived. Beautifully situated in a glen surrounded by trees and lush vegetation, the double-story cottage is well stocked and furnished with the aim of encouraging maximum rest and relaxation. Sinking into well-worn leather armchairs in front of a fireplace, gazing out the windows at oak trees dripping with misty rain, hearing the horses in the stables softly whinny, is the stuff dreams are made of! A metal circular staircase takes you to the top floor where there are two beautifully furnished rooms and a large wet room with a shower with a view outside! There are windows everywhere, and it was absolute bliss to enjoy the outside from the comfort of the inside! Highly recommended, well worth the drive out from Pretoria. Well done to the owners for creating such an emotionally warm, visually satisfying retreat!

This stay was so lovely! Private, romantic, beautiful setting within the trees that you do not feel that you are on a farm, but rather all alone in the middle of a forest! Lovely amenities and the host does her absolute best to only chat via WhatsApp should you need anything, which adds to the privacy of the stay. For the area of Magoebaskloof, definitely value for money!

Very nice weekend. Unit is a bit stuffy as it is in the forest - towels don't dry quickly etc. All windows also don't work (bathroom). Bathroom very cold - would recommend heater.

The cottage is literally in the forest and it overlooks the pond. In the mornings the horses come by. It was the most beautiful stay and definitely worth visiting. Thank you very much for the hospitality and effort you have made.

Comfortable, cozy, with attention to small details. George was extremely courteous and helpful with our fire as well as with our problems with the gas! We noted his kindness with the horses! Bathroom towels need some attention re softness. Not sure what the problem is but they felt rather hard instead of fluffy.

The Loft offers a beautiful, private cottage in the middle of the forest where you see, hear and smell nothing but nature. There's a pond where we could sit quietly to drink in the sunrise and sunset. And if you don't want to sit on the couches, you can swing in the hammock between the trees, close your eyes and forget about the busy world outside. At The Loft, the "world" feels far away. It's like a fairy tale and the experience is unbeatable. Glenda came to greet us from the entrance and made us feel very welcome. Nothing went wrong and we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommended.

Glenogle Farm is well known among the local residents of Haenertsburg, it is very peaceful and has the most beautiful views. The Lofts were decorated in a modern romantic way and privacy was no problem. There was power shedding but Glenda made sure we had power in the unit, she recommended some nice places to see and eat. We plan to visit again.
The farm is as beautiful as in the photos, and even more. We enjoyed every moment in the Loft so much, especially the beautiful nature that is all around the house. The Loft was stunning inside and out and is a quiet and peaceful place to relax. The farm is ideally located in the middle of the Magoebaskloof area and is only a short drive from Haenertsburg and other activities in the area.
It is a fairy tale world and feels completely as if you are hidden among all the thousands of tall trees that envelop you. If you are looking for a place to rest and just not want to go anywhere, this is the place for you. The Loft is stylishly furnished and has everything you need.

We stayed in the loft. It had everything we could ask for in a great setting in the forest next to the dam. The loft was cleaned every morning and firewood replenished by two very friendly staff and the owners were very helpful too. Highly recommended.
We stayed in the Loft of Glenogle Farm. A really cute, romantic house that is excellently done and equipped. Very nice view from the Loft out onto the pond and the fireplace is so nice in the room. Really wanted to stay another night, but it was fully booked, even though it was in the Stables this time. Truly an unforgettable place. Would definitely go there again and highly recommend it to anyone. We have been to different places in Magoebaskloof a few times now and Glenogle Farm was for me the best accommodation so far with excellent scenery, fantastic.
Glenogle Farm is a magical place where we were welcomed with open arms by the owner Glenda. Everything was set up and thought through to the finest detail. The place is amazing. The Stables are with the 3 horses which makes the whole experience so much more original. Horses and stables are well cared for and clean. The Stables is perfect - contains everything you need. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. The nature is beautiful and the unit is modern, clean and tidy. Staff on the farm are also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

We stayed in The Loft at Glenogle for a weekend and it was the perfect romantic getaway. The Loft is furnished with the most tasteful decor and every item is of high quality. Everything you need is in the Loft and you feel "at home" the first time you walk in. The surroundings are beautiful and everything is perfectly planned and maintained. Perfect spot and will definitely return for another fairytale weekend. A gem in the woods.
We stayed in the Loft at Glenogle Farm and our expectations were exceeded. From the moment we arrived and Glenda welcomed us, and offered to get a fire going, we felt like special guests. We could not ask for more. The unit is clean and neat as a pin, and very well equipped. We loved the farm and the regular visits by the dogs, Duke and Bella. The scenery in the area is out of this world. We will most definitely go back again.

We stayed in The Loft at Glenogle for a weekend getaway and it was the perfect romantic getaway. A place that is characterised by tasteful decor and that is surrounded by beautiful nature and pine trees. Every item is chosen with though to make your time there unbelievable! Haenertsburg is a stone throw from the farm for a lovely outing.

We stayed in the loft on our way back from honeymoon in Kruger. Glenda gave it a personal touch with champagne, fresh flowers and a special welcoming sign. One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. Stylishly furnished, with everything you could need and more. Cosy, comfortable and secluded. Glenda made us feel at home immediately with a complimentary bottle of wine, but she did not impose. We took a bottle of wine down to the lake every night for sundowners, and even did some fly fishing. We loved spending time with the horses and cuddling next to the fireplace. It is also centrally located, just a few minutes from Haenertsburg (and a really amazing burger at the Iron Crown Pub) and Debengeni Waterfall. An amazing escape from the city!
David and Glenda went out their way to make us feel at home. Our two boys had an absolute ball of a time riding their bikes, fishing and swimming in the dam. They almost didn't know what to do with all the freedom and safety. At the end of each day they were covered in mud with a big smile. All of this gave my husband and myself the peace of mind to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The farm dogs were an added bonus.
It is picture perfect and so neat. The surroundings are peaceful and Haenerstsburg is just around the corner. The owner is so friendly and makes a lot of effort with her guests.
