It's easily accessible in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. All arterial roads and highways are easily accessible.
No 10 is great, you feel like you have the house all to yourself as it is a self-catering option.
Close to family. Clean and comfortable. Heaven knows who runs the place though!
Very neglected, steam in room, does not look like photos, you should ask your people to post updated photos and of the real house.
Made no provision for load shedding. No mirror with wall plug in room to dry hair. Not aimed at female guests.

On my arrival the reception was warm, friendly and efficient without any delay. I was surprised by the beautiful rooms and lovely house allocated to me. Safety is definitely high on their priority list. Thank you for making my stay pleasant and comfortable. Might I suggest that you look into slip prevention strips on the shower/bathroom tiles, they become quite slippery when wet.

Accommodation was of top quality, terribly neat and very modern. It was a pleasure to stay there for the night. Will definitely go again.

Location definitely needs renovation. Definitely will not use kitchen to prepare food. Mattresses and pillows rock hard and uncomfortable. Towels dirty and broken - could not use them. No clotheslines available - rope only. Communal facilities create problems if all the guests are not considerate. Aluminum strips that are supposed to be burglar bars are absent from quite a few windows - our room gave free access via windows to whoever wanted to use them. Cars that have to be parked in the street are a big problem. Very disappointed in this accommodation listed.
Hussain and staff are very friendly and the room was very comfortably furnished. The only criticism I would like to make is that the bedding smelled overwhelmingly of smoke and as a non-smoker this really bothered me. I slept restlessly as I couldn't get used to the smell of smoke and my hair and clothes also smelled of smoke the next day.

It was okay, but not wow like in the pictures. It needs some proper cleaning. But the staff were very friendly.
Getting there was a mission, place was filthy full of old cars outside with a small mark written "Guesthouse". I had to park my car on the streets because the actual garage is full of junk from the house. And when I asked why I must park outside I was told "this is Cape Town". I was welcomed by the owner full of grease and paint all over and he said he was busy with another house that he will turn into B&B and then he asked one of his garden staff to show me my room and give me the keys. Nothing was explained further! There are no wadrobes in the room, the lights did not go on for two days, the lady making the bed would not even tilt the sheet, the night before I ate rusks and i still found the pieces of rusk on the bed when I went to sleep. The safety is disastrous, the is only a door, no yard, you park outside the yard. I would not recommend this place to anybody! It was not a pleasant experience at all!

Very tidy and located in a very quiet area. Close to the necessary shops and nice wine farms!
Goblin's mead is a very nice guest house in a good location - close to Canal Walk and Ratanga Junction. The owners are lovely people and the room was clean and tidy. It's just very small though.
Privacy was respected. It was nice to have a self-catering unit available for once as well as the choice for breakfast before the day started. Especially the indoor braai scores points for a braai lover, especially if it's a little cold outside. The staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant.
The Koi pond in front of the room was disturbing throughout the night.
I would definitely recommend Goblin's Mead as a guest house that offers value for money and makes sure your stay is a great experience.
