We really enjoyed our stay at the Goedemoed Farmhouse. There was plenty of room and we loved the spacious kitchen. The dishwasher was a great addition. The secure property gave us peace of mind for our two labs, who had a ball.

The house is about 15 km outside Montagu, so it is the ideal place if you are looking for peace and quiet. There is a lovely swimming pool with a large braai and lapa. It's a great place for a bunch of friends or family to enjoy. The lawn is very large.

We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday and the house met all our requirements. There was plenty of sleeping space for all of us and all the equipment we needed was there. The lapa was fantastic for barbecuing and hanging out. We could make music without bothering anyone. Everything was very neat and clean. Thank you Laetitia we really enjoyed the weekend and would definitely recommend it to a large group of people.

Group of 12 - the house is nice and spacious, everyone had enough privacy. Kitchen well equipped for large groups and the bonus - a dishwasher! Plenty to do in the area and on the farm too. "Away from everything."

If you are looking for a break from the busy city life, then Goedemoed Farmhouse is perfect for you. The farmhouse is about 15 minutes outside of Montagu and is large enough to accommodate large groups. We were a group of 10 adults and a baby and the house worked perfectly for us. Four of the couples had their own private rooms and the fifth couple slept in a semi private, connecting room (it had a door to the pool / braai area so was used as a passageway). In our room there was also a cot for the baby to sleep in. Most of the rooms also have extra beds in them, so could accommodate more than 2 people. Two of the rooms also have bathrooms (one is an en-suite with a shower and the other has a bath and toilet in the room) and there was also a shared bathroom with a shower (2 shower heads). The highlight of the house is the large pool and lapa area where you can swim, barbecue and relax. There is also a climbing frame and large lawn for the children to play. Because the house is on a farm, it is nice and quiet, but you can also play music because there is no one nearby to disturb you. There is limited mobile phone reception, which is great, but for those who need to stay connected, there is WiFi as well as a TV with DSTV. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, including 2 fridges which are perfect for a bunch of people. We had a wonderful time and made so many memories and just want to thank the owners and Nkosi for making our visit so special.

Since decision made to visit Goedemoed, the service from owner Laetitia, was fantastic. The farm is spacious, beautiful and well suited to rest, entertainment and fun. The accommodation is superb. Highly recommended and much appreciated.

We enjoyed the weekend so much. The house is very beautiful. The greenery and the mountains were breathtaking. We spent most of our time at the lapa area and pool and it was too much fun. We will book the place again and bring more people to experience it with us.

We stayed in the farmhouse which is a lovely home; spacious, lots of windows to let in the light and has everything you need. The bedding and towels were clean and fresh and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked in terms of crockery and cutlery and cooking utensils. The pool is an absolute bonus and the lapa area are amazing. We lived outside for most of the time as the kids were always in the swimming pool. We didn't lack anything.

We were a group of 15 and were very pleased with how clean and tidy the place was. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area with lapa for our use was fantastic. We only developed one small problem where a faucet started leaking water, but it was fixed very quickly. Sleeping facilities for such a large group were fantastic.

Goedemoed Farmhouse is a great option for large groups. We had my mothers in laws 70th birthday there, and all I can say is that it was great, everything you will need is there. 10 km out of town, so you are not too far to pick up something you forgot to bring in Montagu. You basically have the place to yourself, but if you have any queries, the manager is on the premises, but the owner also checked up with me all weekend, just to make sure all was to out satisfaction. Really a great get away. Thanks once again Laetitia.

The farm house offers a lot of space for a group. There is a big swimming pool and lapa that makes entertainment lovely. The decor is beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Air-conditioning helps a lot with the hot days. Leatitia is very helpful and friendly. I don't have any negative feedback.
