This place is an absolute gem! You are completely on your own, play your music and enjoy the hot tub with the birds chirping all day! In the evening, the stars come out and you just enjoy the pure silence. It's absolutely beautiful just staring into the mountains over the dam.
Highly recommend for a perfect weekend away.

It was one of the most peaceful weekends you can experience. The silence of birds singing all day around you and here and there some farm sounds. Accommodation is clean and comfortable. You don't need anything more. Time flies here.

What a lovely getaway! The place has everything! Beautiful glass view, silence and only farm sounds, wood fire jacuzzi, nice pond for playing and swimming. We enjoyed every moment.
It was the most magnificent 3 days ever! The sheer peace and quiet is exactly what the doctor ordered, and I don't think I could have chosen anything more special for what we needed! Such a romantic and peaceful setting that allowed us to relax and unwind celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary, in the middle of nowhere overlooking the dam and mountains surrounded by birds chirping and fresh air. The inside fireplace adds to the cosy atmosphere as well as the wood-fired hot tub where we spent most of our time. The host is great and had a cheese platter and bubbly on arrival that my husband arranged to surprise me.

It was awesome, what you see on the photo is what you get, and I also loved the fact that it was not far from a small town where you can easily drive to and get anything you want. I really enjoyed my stay and couldn't stop looking at the cabin while leaving.

It was a 10/10 experience. The only slight negative was that there was no signal at the place, but that turned out to be a good thing as it allowed us to unwind from technology.

From the luxurious towels and bed linen to rusks and coffee, everything was amazing. The seclusion of the cottage makes it the most romantic place and the views are to die for. The hot tub was the cherry on top.
