The living area has comfortable seating and there is a table with chairs for 6 persons. Guests are welcome to make use of the braai facilities outside of the cottage. Activities that can be enjoyed on the farm include horse riding, bass fishing and clay pigeon shooting.
There is also an abundance of hiking and mountain biking trails on the farm, as well as ample opportunities for bird watching. Goedewater Cottage is also a drive away from the Kloppenheim Country Estate, which offers spa facilities, a pub and a restaurant.

Definitely value for money.
Unit was spotlessly clean, with ample oil heaters for the cold. Good communication by landlord prior to arrival. Quiet area. We had a 4 bedroom unit to ourselves. I enjoyed the space! I can really recommend it for a weekend or week away from the hustle and bustle, as well as comfortable accommodation when attending a wedding at nearby wedding venues, as we did.
This cottage was the perfect accommodation for a wedding we had at Silver Sixpence. The cottage is well furnished and the view is beautiful. It was even better than it looks in the photos. Thank you very much for a nice sleeping experience.

We stayed at Goedewater and can find very little fault with the place. Beautiful pond, lots of room inside and everything we needed. Handing over keys and communication was particularly easy. Liana was quick to respond and very helpful with any queries. The cottage was neat, clean and perfect for a wedding at Silver Sixpence. The dirt road on the way there is nice and not too far from the tarmac. Thank you very much.
We actually stayed in the larger cottage next to the small one. Very well laid out and all good facilities. Everything we required for a family gathering. Driveway from road was a bit tricky in the rain with something of a quagmire at one turning in the field. Did not stop us at all though.

The cottage is very basic, but you'll have everything you need to have a lovely time. The farm on which it is situated is gorgeous and the owner is really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
