Fransien was very friendly, kind and helpful. She went out of her way to help us with any queries or requests we had, and the stay itself was very nice. We slept very well and warm too.

We were kindly received and had a great time and slept in a clean, tidy and spacious room with bathroom. Parking is safe. Although close to a main road, it is dead quiet in the rooms. Would stay there again anytime.

We needed a 1 night stay close to a specific church for a funeral on the Monday. Gold Crest more than fulfilled our needs, it was spotless, welcoming, with a good breakfast, perfect.
People are friendly and place is nice and comfortable. And on top of that you get meals in the morning too. It's worth your money.

Our room had a kettle, fridge, coffee, sugar, milk and one teaspoon. Unfortunately there were no cups or tea. By the time we found out (about 6pm), the owner was not available. I suspect they were out, their house was completely dark.
Gold Crest is extremely tidy, with friendly service to attend to every need. I was welcomed with open arms and immediately felt at home. The garden is beautiful and the rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped. Breakfast was filling and tasty. The guest house is very well equipped with security systems to ensure guests' safety. The guest house is also well located and is within walking distance of shopping centres. I would recommend Gold Crest to anyone!
